Your case in point doesn’t actually support your argument. That person didn’t say women couldn’t get jobs. They said women couldn’t support themselves financially. Those are two very different things.

They’d send whoever has medical training and can get there first, assuming OP accurately described the situation. There’s a chance the EMTs/paramedics could have safely reached him and rendered medical assistance while waiting for the rescue crew to do the actual rescue.
