Did you even watch the movie?

You're mixing up two different concepts. The OP isn’t arguing for sameness between men and women or saying all calls for equality are equally justified. They're pointing out that many dating frustrations come from expecting women to behave like men. Equality in rights and opportunities doesn’t mean identical preferences, behaviour or outcomes. The mNBA vs WNBA analogy doesn’t apply here, because that’s about market forces and pay structures, not interpersonal dynamics or attraction patterns.

Why are you allowing your wife to lie to you???
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/25 11:09 PM

You’re trying to debate something completely stupid. Not sure what the logical fallacy is for that one.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 10:02 AM
1

Yeah ok mate, take your ad hominems elsewhere.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 09:09 AM

Your post is not made in good faith though. You’re inviting debate when what you really want is for a bunch of men to tell you how tough it is to be a man when women are constantly threatening you with “forced fatherhood”.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 08:36 AM

I’m all over the place? I have no idea what you’re even talking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 07:46 AM

What? Do you think abortion is only ever needed when a woman stealthily got pregnant?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 07:44 AM

How am I gaslighting?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 07:36 AM

How will she do that if he takes the condom with him? You’re arguing with yourself here.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 07:30 AM
5

And you live in a fantasy world. You think one of the worst things that could happen to you is a woman getting pregnant without your knowledge. What about being a woman who gets pregnant and can’t get an abortion because some old guy in the government says it’s not allowed in her state? Or being a woman who gets raped by a man she trusted? Do you know how hard it is to raise a kid? Let alone as a single mother. Why are you so sure there are women all over the place seeking this out just to get a…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 07:24 AM

What? My advice is take the condom with you. How is that going to cause someone to be “cooked”? Other than the woman thinking he’s a lunatic, of course.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 07:19 AM

Did you actually read the study? I did (at least that section). It also says the following: “Approximately 8.6% (or an estimated 10.3 million) of women in the United States reported ever having an intimate partner who tried to get them pregnant when they did not want to, or refused to use a condom, with 4.8% having had an intimate partner who tried to get them pregnant when they did not want to, and 6.7% having had an intimate partner who refused to wear a condom (data not shown).” So seems like…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 07:16 AM
12

“Never mind his stats” yes that’s right, no need for legit statistics. We just make it up as we go now! If you’re a man and you don’t trust a woman, it’s really not hard to avoid pregnancy. Firstly, maybe don’t have sex with her to begin with. But if you can’t help yourself, wear a condom that you brought yourself and dispose of it yourself (although the idea that women are getting jizz out of used condoms is truly cooked).
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 07:07 AM
19

So in support of your nuanced argument you went to Wikipedia, then cited the two “studies” they included (5000 women in a trashy doctors’ office magazine 21 years ago). No wonder people fall for the garbage politicians spout these days. You couldn’t tell fact from fiction if it slapped you across the face.

Exactly. So let’s shut the sub down because all the problems can be solved with this one simple hack.

Babe, wake up! The PPD folks are whining about paternity tests again.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/25 02:45 AM

That’s such a BS response. You made claims and couldn’t back them up, so your response is to say what? I’m too stupid to understand the sources?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/25 11:08 PM
4

When asked for sources you respond with “just read some stuff online and also Jordan Peterson”. Your troubles have nothing to do with feminism and everything to do with not being very smart.

Have you, a man, ever used a cervical cap, sponge or diaphragm? Who are you to say what's 'easy' or not for a woman? And a vasectomy is cheap. A few hundred dollars. Much cheaper than a lifetime of contraception, or a lifetime with a kid.

Thank you for your anecdata. One example doesn’t prove anything.

Two things can be true at once. Caring about this woman's situation doesn't mean you don't care about men. But seeing this and thinking "people don't care about men like mEeEe!!" is certainly a choice.

/r/RedPillWives23/12/24 12:29 PM

Is there some red pill think tank that churns out these diatribes? Who has the time to write all this? You can’t actually believe it.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/24 10:38 AM

Men in this sub will literally do anything other than just wear a condom.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/24 03:58 AM
13

You come here trying to bamboozle us with data and then just…provide no evidence of said data.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/24 10:25 PM

You can’t even be civil towards women trying to have a reasonable discussion with you. You keep insulting our intelligence as though that’s going to help your argument. And then you wonder why we support each other instead of being nice to you. When men had the upper hand in everything, did you see them reaching down to help women?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/24 03:45 AM

Have you ever wondered why women behave the way they do towards men?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/24 03:42 AM

Thanks - you proved my point. You can’t be supportive of anyone. Thanks for the insults, they were super clever. What’s your solution? Sounds like you want everyone to stop being supportive of women. Is that right?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 11:03 PM

“Mainly raised by single mothers” yeah right mate. Got a source for that?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 10:40 PM

So women support each other and that’s supposed to be…bad? Why don’t men try supporting each other?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 10:37 PM

You're dead right about the being good in bed part. You went off the rails with the penis size part though. It really doesn't matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/24 03:50 AM

And again, that's not gaslighting. Giving someone advice is not gaslighting.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/24 10:17 PM

Why do you interpret my reasonable comments as lack of empathy for "involuntary male virgins"? I truly don't understand what you expect women to do. We're not going to have sex with you just because we feel sorry for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/24 09:49 PM

People say all sorts of absolute garbage on the internet. You don't have to read it. I could spend all my time in subs full of men who say awful things about women (and you know they exist and are far worse than what you're talking about), but I don't. Get off the feminist content if it bothers you so much. You can't stop people from thinking the way they think.

What comments about height? I’ve never mentioned height here.

That’s not what gaslit means. Also that’s not what “the bar for men is low” is about. I don’t believe that it’s easy for men to get dates. I also don’t believe it’s easy for women to get dates. You’re all fighting about the same thing. Just let it go and focus on finding someone who likes you and wants to have sex with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/24 01:34 PM
-5

I dunno where you find these people. They’re also completely misunderstanding the trope. The whole “bar for men is so low it’s a tavern in hades” thing is not about that. It’s specifically about men who are in relationships who are shit partners eg, “I feel so lucky that my husband takes out the trash when it’s overflowing and changed a diaper one time #blessed” I’m sure dating is hard for men sometimes. It’s also hard for women too. You’re all fighting about the same stupid things. Just get off…

I think you’re misinterpreting it, TBH.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/24 11:32 AM

When do they do this? Can you explain it in context? Like are you meeting women in OLD apps who straight up tell you this?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/24 11:14 AM

Guys cancel everything, the redpills are obsessing about paternity testing again!
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/24 10:01 AM

Oh it’s you again. Still no comment in response to my last takedown of your garbage “evidence”, I see. Thanks for coming though.

I don't know where you live or who you associate with, but I'm sorry the women you've encountered are so horrible. This has not been my experience or the experience of the men in my life. They're told these things by other men, sure, but not women.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/24 02:01 AM

What "shit" do women say here that makes you think this?

/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/24 01:06 AM

Stupid women who are looking for a husband to pay for them? I'm certainly not saying these women don't exist. Why would you, a smart, educated and financially secure man want to be with a woman like this? Who cares if someone thinks you're being shallow?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/24 01:04 AM
10

Why on earth would I not think that was ok? Why wouldn't you care about a career-oriented woman? I don't understand your question.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 11:44 PM
21

Yeah, the only place I hear about this is on Reddit. I'm university educated and all the couples in my main friend group are the same. People I know through my kid's school etc who work service/retail jobs are all partnered up with people who work similar jobs. Also if I look around at the 20+ families in my kid's class, all the mothers have jobs. I can't think of any who are "tradwives" who don't have some form of income of their own. The idea that women want to just sit around at home while me…

This is the stupidest thing I've read here in a while. If you don't like women then stop sticking your dick into them.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 09:19 PM
1

Wah wah wah all she did was birth children and take care of them and the house and make all the meals and organise all the holidays and make Christmas magical! She shouldn't get a single penny of the money that I worked hard to earn!! So fucking stupid.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 09:17 PM
2

FFS maybe consider why she doesn't want to have sex with you instead of arguing with her about her valid reasons. I'll give you a tip - women don't like having sex with their children. If you make more work for her then you may as well be another child. And yes, this goes for childless couples too. Men her will do literally anything to avoid taking any responsibility.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 08:51 PM
3

Obviously a gross generalisation, but many women are looking for a long term relationship and someone to have a kid with. Many men (especially the ones who seem to post here) are just looking for sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 08:41 PM
2

I'm not saying that's the only cause of a dead bedroom. But it's a huge one. Go to any "mums with kids" space online, or speak to any new mothers IRL and they'll overwhelming report feeling touched out and not interested in sex. Especially when their male partners do the bare minimum to contribute to child care.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 08:39 PM
2

Because our definitions of "quality" vary drastically.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 08:28 PM
8

Equally, say I just had a baby, and I'm bleeding and have stitches. I'm barely getting any sleep. Completely exhausted. Sex is the last thing I feel like. Would you still say I'm depriving you of sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 01:34 PM
1

u/BCRE8TVE that wasn't a rhetorical question. Show me the data that proves that 50% of rape victims are male.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 12:45 PM
7

That's so weird, but also, what was your experience? You met a man and fell in love and got married?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 12:36 PM
13

Women also experience nasty divorces, men who want sex and then cheat on them when they've just had babies and are sleeping 2 hours a night max, men who say they want a relationship and then just expect sex at the end of a date etc etc. Men in this sub are so consumed with how hard it is to be a man, that you've completely lost sight of the fact that maybe, just maybe, it can be hard to be a woman too.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 12:35 PM
1

FFS mate, where do you get these ideas about how women think? Completely disconnected from reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 12:32 PM
6

Lol ask any woman who has ever been on a dating app about her experience. I think you'll find it's not quite like the little fairy tale you've made up in your head and described here.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 12:31 PM

Please tell us more about the woke mind virus we've been infected with to make us not want to fuck men like you.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 12:26 PM
7

We can say this until we're blue in the face but somehow it still won't get through. WE DON'T JUST WANT CASUAL SEX. 40 matches with guys who just want to fuck is worth nothing to a woman who is looking for a long term relationship. Or even just someone to respect her and have a decent conversation.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 12:24 PM
15

Oh it's a fact! Thank you u/separate-sector2696 for explaining that for us. I will ignore all my challenging life experiences and those of my fellow women and defer to you u/separate-sector2696 to explain my life to me going forward. Thank you for your service to womankind.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 12:22 PM

I really despair for the future of civilisation when I read this absolute brain rot. Have you ever actually met a woman?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 12:19 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 12:00 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 09:15 AM

Why do you think women are exclusively selecting men for their finances? That has never been my experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 07:55 AM
-1

“Except men are half the rape victims and half the domestic abuse victims too, its just feminism has spent decades erasing and I validating male victims to prop up the narrative that rape and DV is a woman's issue.” Oh come off it mate. You know as well as I do that men aren't walking the streets at night scared that they'll be attacked by a woman. When was the last time a man was raped and murdered by a gang of women? I'm sympathetic to your cause, but not if you're going to just make up stats.

I don’t think hypergamy and “unrealistic standards” are the same thing. Sure, if someone constantly pursues partners far out of their league without offering similar qualities in return, that could be seen as unrealistic. But why shouldn’t women look for partners who have decent incomes, shared values, and physical attraction? Smart women are practical. We’re not just thinking about having sex tonight (though of course that can happen). We’re often focused on building a long-term partnership. Th…

You’re right that men can face serious injustices in these situations, and it's important to acknowledge those experiences. At the same time, it’s also true that women overwhelmingly experience higher rates of sexual assault, domestic violence, and rape. Both realities can coexist, and addressing one doesn’t mean dismissing the other.

No need to patronise me. Is that how you always speak to women? To answer your question, let's unpack the original post. First, small penis jokes are incredibly common and are often framed as lighthearted humour. They’re frequently used in mainstream culture, even by people who probably don’t think twice about the implications. That doesn’t make it okay—it just reflects how ingrained these jokes are in our collective consciousness. By contrast, mean-spirited comments about vulvas tend to come fr…

Oh FFS why do you suppose that is? So sick of this sub full of men thinking that women who stay home and look after children are contributing nothing to society. If your female partner works then it's not fair because she won't keep the house clean and do everything with the kids. If she stays home she's a gold digger. What is it, exactly, that you would like women to do?

most of the changes would have happened anyway Are you sure about that? Feminism actively opposes equal rights for men, infantilizes women, denies them agency, and divides society with hate. Do you have real evidence to support these claims? Other than a few radical articles you've found in the corners of the internet? Ask any woman (or man) who calls themself a feminist and they won't say anything about hating men. Sure, there will always be radicals, but they're not the norm. It's like saying …

Mate, you be civil. You completely ignored the premise of my original comment and looked for something to attack me about. I'll ask you again - what would you prefer? Do you think we should all stay home with no right to vote, no right to own property, no ability to have a career? Without feminist action we wouldn't have these things. Throw stones at feminism if you want, but it's disingenuous to suggest that it's been a net negative for society. For men maybe, but why is that now our problem?

Women bitch about housework if they live with men who don't lift a finger at home while they both work full time. If we both got home from work and I had to cook dinner, do washing, vacuum, make beds etc etc while he sat on the couch on his phone, then yeah, I'd bitch about it. In many cases women are doing this while also caring for kids - helping with homework, baths, stories, multiple back and forths with kids over bedtime. And I refuse to believe that you have jobs like fixing a toilet and c…

Oh, so what is sexual assault if not "woman hating"? And controlling womens' bodies? What's that - something you do for love? You live in a literal echo chamber and you're suffering from brain rot.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/24 11:14 AM

What would you prefer? That women had stayed under the thumb of men, unable to vote, earn money, own property, have agency over what happened in their own lives etc etc? No progress without struggle. And perhaps you've noticed in the US that "women hating" is pretty popular right now. Want an abortion? Let's make it difficult. Want a political leader who isn't known for sexually assaulting women? Oops, none of those available.

I love how the response to every "that's not how the world works" comment in this sub is "but I've trained tiktok, YouTube and Reddit to only show me content that reinforces my existing unrealistic world view." Try starting fresh online. Make new accounts. Try different platforms. Or better yet, try meeting people IRL.

What do you base all this on? I'm not "repulsed" by any of the things you've mentioned. I'm also not a financial parasite.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/24 06:29 AM

And those who don't take care of kids are usually working in paid employment. Do you really think there are huge numbers of women just hanging about at home all day while their husbands toil away on their hands and knees in the coal mines?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/24 05:01 AM
11

Ah yes of course, because caring for children isn't actually work.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/24 04:10 AM
7

So again, what's your point? What do you think women should do? Should we write an open letter to all men saying that we recognise we're so privileged and our lives are super easy and we should give them all daily blow jobs in thanks? This whole argument is meaningless and you know it.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/24 02:45 AM

Do you have actual statistics to back up your claims? Or are these just based on your feelings? Also, what's your point?

Try not calling women prostitutes and you might have more luck with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/24 01:50 AM

Men are welcome to try "dating up" too. Oh wait, women don't make as much money? huh, couldn't possibly be because of the mythical gender pay gap, could it?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/24 01:34 AM

Based on the way you write, I doubt you'll ever be paying for anyone, let alone yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/24 01:21 AM

It sounds like you're frustrated by the idea that earning less money can be seen as an "advantage" in some contexts, while other dynamics (like traditional dating norms or financial support from a partner) aren't scrutinised in the same way. I can understand why that might feel contradictory. However, the gender pay gap isn’t just about who earns more or less—it’s about systemic barriers that disproportionately hold women back in the workplace, such as access to promotions, career advancement, a…

So you like to cook and you once lived with a woman who wasn't good at cooking. This doesn't prove that all women are shit at cooking and all men are good at it. Back to my earlier point, if men are so good at it, they can just take over. We're not all so stupid that we want to make our lives more difficult. Stop trying to prove something that is inherently false.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/24 09:33 PM

You can interpret the names however you like. That's not what they mean though. Nobody is suggesting that women do double the work of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/24 09:30 PM
1

Where does it say that the second shift or double burden are about women working 200% more than men? That's not what it means. You've completely misunderstood how this works, but carry on digging your hole.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/24 09:28 PM

If men are so much better at cooking and cleaning up afterwards, why don't they just do it? If she's making meals that are too complex and unhealthy, what's stopping you from taking over?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/24 01:51 PM

How about, instead of trying to find ways to refute the data that's staring you in the face, you just believed what women are saying? Your example of single men is stupid. Have you seen how most young single men live? They do the bare minimum so of course it takes less time. When they move in with a women they do even less because she picks up the slack. Also, what this sub always fails to understand is that this type of data is far more relevant to couples with kids. Once kids come along, the "…

Ooohhhh of course you're right. We women are just too slow at cleaning because of our weak little female bodies. Far out, now I've seen it all in this sub.

Then why is it that even when women earn more money, they still do more unpaid labour around the house? Riddle me that.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/24 12:13 PM
48

You've started out suggesting that the "double burden" and "second shift" is a "hoax". Yet your post doesn't provide any evidence to support your claim. You must be exhausted from the mental gymnastics it took to completely misunderstand and misrepresent the data. The Eurostat data you cited does show that women, on average, perform more unpaid work (contrary to the title of your post). However, you've claimed this is a reflection of personal choice, especially for single women with no dependent…

And why does the public know them by these names? Because as a whole, we don't respect women the way we respect men.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/24 11:53 PM

Why do you refer to Trump by his last name, but Kamala and Hillary by their first names? You can’t even show them the respect of treating them as professionals, yet you’re suggesting women and men are treated the same way in professional settings.

If I was casually sleeping with a bunch of different guys, then I wouldn't be offended if the one I thought was the father wanted a paternity test. I'd probably offer. However, if my partner of 12 years had asked for a paternity test when I got pregnant, after we'd planned to have a kid, then of course I'd be mad. He would have been accusing me of cheating. Why wouldn't I be offended by this?

You're taking things too literally. Of course women (in general, can't speak for everyone) don't "hate all men". But it makes for a good headline and lots of clicks, so people keep printing it.

If your somehow offended by this exercise in empathy I’m trying to put you through What on earth are you talking about? Are you exhausted from the mental gymnastics you must have gone through to come up with this post? Made up stats. Made up scenarios. Why don't you just say what you mean?

I think people in general are less likely to help each other. We're always glued to our phones and hardly notice what's going on around us. But to answer your question, yeah I think men are less willing to help women. I remember once when I was walking with my baby in a pram. The footpath was uneven and on a slope, and the pram started to tip over. I was panicking and trying to get it back up. A young guy walked right past me without so much as an acknowledgement that I was there. I also travell…

We had a kid when I was 34 and he was 40. I'm happy we waited, but very glad we didn't wait any longer. There's a reason why our bodies are ready to have babies when we're teenagers.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 12:55 PM

Men can physically father children for longer, but the quality of their sperm drastically decreases once they hit 40. Also who wants to be looking after a newborn in their late 40s or early 50s?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 12:41 PM
4

Look mate, I don't know them, so I really can't say, but I'll refer you to my earlier comment: As much as we can look after ourselves, many of us still crave and seek out a partnership. I don't think women having their own money means we don't want to be with men. It just makes us more picky about the men we'll put up with, since it's much easier to leave now.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 11:21 AM
4

Have you ever tried to adopt a kid? It's not like you just rock up at the adoption store and pick one up. It takes years and it's extra difficult to do it as a single parent. Also, do you have kids? The idea of raising one alone isn't attractive to most people. Babies in particular suck your soul dry, so ideally you want another person to help you.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 11:17 AM

What do you mean? Of course they have jobs and money. You can't just buy a baby.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 11:14 AM

Are you talking about my last point? If so, the pool of single women who are desperate to find someone to have a baby with is ripe for a single man to tap into. I've seen many perpetually single friends meet a guy, get married and have a kid in the space of 2 years in their 30s. The men are often well below what I'd expect for the women in these scenarios, but the women are so keen to have kids that they lower their standards to do it.

What in the victim blaming bullshit is this? Do you also think that women who are raped deserved it for dressing provocatively and walking in the dark? Sure, some women seem to be attracted to terrible men. However the men don’t have to abuse them. Nobody seeks out a man who will hit them.

There's a big difference between Elon Musk and a regular guy on 100k a year. Your post proves nothing. But also, why should women settle for go-nowhere men? We're practical. We plan ahead. You're clearly a seasoned "men's rights activist", well done you. I'm not going to argue with you on every point, since you're not going to believe anything I say anyway. So I'll ask you this. Nobody puts a label on packaging without considering the potential for profit.

Men like you are sad about it. However, politicians are still overwhelmingly men. CEOs are still overwhelmingly men. If she's happy with her body, no she's too fat and should get over herself. If she's single and happy about it, no way, she will die alone with her cats. You honestly must live on another planet, I truly don't understand how you can think the way you do.

/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/24 11:15 PM

I feel like the answer to every post on this sub is the same: "IT DEPENDS". Women are not a hivemind. Men are not a hivemind. Some women like to stay home and raise kids. Some women want to have careers and hate children. Some men want to be providers with stay at home wives. Some men want to contribute equally with their wives. And a million other options. These things can change during your lives/relationships too. Stop trying to make us all the same!
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/24 11:11 PM

This is not a healthy relationship. You say you met her at your lowest point, when you had no one else? You’re basically trauma bonded to her. You think she’s the only person who is right for you, and there’s nobody else in your life to take over if she leaves. She doesn’t sound like a great person. You sound like you need to find some other friends and try being single for a while. You’re too codependent on someone who doesn’t love you the way you want to be loved.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/24 09:58 PM

I wouldn't consider a man 'high value' if he cheats on me. I wouldn't care how much money he earns because I can earn my own money. Jesus Christ, penniless is a figure of speech here. Clearly I mean women are left with far less money and future job prospects if they have been at home with kids, allowing a man to have a career while her career is non-existent. And he's not dead. He just left.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 11:30 AM

Yes, women who have been out of the workforce, supporting a man's career for years, tend to be at a disadvantage when that man leaves her for a younger model. But according to you, most divorces are initiated by women. I wonder why?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 10:05 AM

You say women were replaced by phones, and then turn around and say you need us to make babies. Why are you even here if you don't like women and don't need one in your life? I assume you don't want kids, since you think they can be parented by phones and nameless teachers.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 09:35 AM

What good argument? Lesbians getting divorced at higher rates doesn't have anything to do with being spoilt princesses. Consider, for a moment, how you'd feel if you weren't lead around by your dick all day. You'd probably be much quicker to leave a relationship that wasn't working. Is that hard to understand? Why is it a bad thing for women to leave relationships that aren't working?

Clearly a woman did something bad to you. I'm sorry that happened to you. We're not all like that. Is your phone from the future, and actually a robot?

Aah the catch cry of this sub “most divorces are initiated by women”. You do realise that this is because someone has to file some paperwork, right? Of course this gets left to the woman. And if men were such great providers to these women who love sitting around and spending their money, why would the women want to get divorced in the first place? You seem to have a very low opinion of women. Where does that come from?

Can be replaced with a phone? Wtf are you talking about? Do you think all women do is make lists or something? The fact that you don’t notice all the things that just happen because of womens’ unpaid labour just goes to show why we are where we are.

Oh cool, mental load is just shoe sizes. I see why women spend so much time on it if that's your understanding.

THAT'S NOT HOW FEMINISM WORKS. Seriously, this sub thinks feminism is man hating lesbians on tiktok. Learn what feminism is before you shit all over it.

One woman on reddit with this view = all women are power and money mad. Yeah ok. Women are wising up to the fact that our mothers and grandmothers were left penniless and alone by their so called "providers", so we're finding ways to protect ourselves. Not sure why that's an issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 03:31 AM

Do you think that men who leave their wives and children shouldn't have to continue contributing to the upkeep of those children? And potentially to the wife too, if he expected her to stay home and neglect any potential career opportunities while she was looking after children?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 03:27 AM

"women pick lower-earning careers" Or perhaps those careers are low-earning because they've traditionally been filled by women?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 03:24 AM

Have you ever spent 24/7 with a small child? It's so boring. Sure, some people like it, but why do you think women fought to get out of the house and be able to have jobs of their own? (obviously not the only reason). Kids are great, but like everything, better in moderation. IMO, the ideal situation is for both parents to work part-time so the kid goes to daycare 3 days a week.

Yes, influencers on the internet tell lies. It's not that deep.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 10:44 PM

I would absolutely never consider dating you, or a man like you. Those views demonstrate that you're both not a nice person, and also an idiot who can't accept hard evidence and scientific research.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 12:35 PM

Yes you're right - as I also said - NOT ALWAYS.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 08:17 AM

Did I say this is the only way men and women ever interact? Of course not. I simply suggested some situations where I see this happening. Perhaps you can share examples of your own. I'd be interested to delve deeper into the so called "unprovoked mood swings" you speak of. Ultimately, some women are terrible. Some men are terrible. Not sure why that's so hard to understand.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 06:09 AM

Perhaps you could tell us which part of what I we wrote is unrealistic. Instead of just throwing stones.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 05:45 AM

You mean reality? Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean it isn't true. I'll bet you're one of those charmers who would shame a man for talking about anything other than sports and boobs.

You're equating all women with a woman who is, according to you, mentally ill. We're not all BPD or narcissistic personalities.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 12:25 AM

In my experience, men are more likely to be "rude and moody" because they're unhappy about something and they don't know how to deal with it/talk about it eg, he's having a hard time at work, they just had another baby and they're down to one income so he's worried about money, he's exhausted and he just wants to come home and mindlessly scroll on his phone, not wash dishes. He knows he's being a shit partner but he doesn't know how to fix it. When she gets annoyed at him for not contributing ar…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 12:21 AM

I'll be shouted down by all the rubbish men in this sub, but honestly, learn how to talk to your friends about your feelings. Be open to other men sharing their feelings with you - instead of shaming them for it. Don't expect to go from having your mother look after your emotions, to having your partner/wife do it for you. You need a circle of people you can talk to. Had a fight with your girlfriend? You need friends to discuss this with. Having a hard time with being a parent? You need to talk …
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 12:10 AM

I'm certainly not saying this is always the case. There will be individual, cultural, generational etc differences everywhere. However to your point that women are the ones who "make life difficult by being rude and moody", I'm not suggesting women are immune from this at all. They just do it for different reasons. I find women more likely to do this as a passive agressive reaction to their needs not being met eg, she looks after the kids all day, cooks dinner and puts the kids to bed. When she …
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 12:01 AM

Women say they're doing too much to support mens' emotional needs because men typically don't get the help they need from anywhere else. If a woman has an emotional issue, she talks to other women about it, or will tell her male partner and have an ongoing conversation about it. She'll recognise that she might need to see a therapist and she'll organise that herself. If a man has emotional issues he'll typically do nothing. Won't tell anyone, definitely won't talk to his male friends. Won't make…

Do the men in this sub not have jobs/homes/kids/hobbies/friends? Of the hundreds of men I've met as friends, acquaintances and colleagues, I truly don't think more than a handful of them are constantly thinking of how to get new women to have sex with them. I'd be surprised if more than a couple have ever visited a sex worker, other than a lap dance at a bachelor party or similar. Most people have lives that revolve around more than just looking for someone new to have sex with.

Wtf are you talking about? Who is being conscripted? And what makes you think women wouldn’t be included if conscription was suddenly a thing now? Also, if I was going to make an argument about conscription (I wasn’t) all your points would be relevant. You saying they aren’t doesn’t make it so.

Men in this sub always say that. So then why are there so few stay at home dads? Could it be because any man who cares for a child solo for more than 24 hours realises that it’s both exhausting and boring, and it’s easier to let a woman do it? It’s easy to say you want to do something. It’s another thing to actually do it b

Are you worried that a woman who hits you is going to kill you? I’m guessing the answer is no. There’s the difference. Generally, a man is not at risk of death when a woman hits him. The same can’t be said of a woman being hit by a man. And regardless, it’s childish to suggest that if someone hits you, you should hit them back. What’s stopping you from just walking away? Usually this is related to men in relationships who do the bare minimum, and are congratulated for it by their partners and society in general. Like “so grateful to Jeremy for babysitting the kids for an hour so I can go to the doctors appointment I’ve been putting off for two years“ ✨ “he’ll load them up with sugar and hype them up before bedtime but he’s SUCH A GOOD DAD and I’m SO LUCKY!”

You're contradicting your original point. Women have standards (pretty low standards if you consider what many of them put up with) and men don't meet them. Why should they stay with men who are terrible partners?

Fewer and fewer benefits and more and more responsibility. That is what a *woman* has to look forward. Oh and add to this the ever present threat that if *he* wakes up one day and feels some way *he* can literally blow up the life you have built. See how these are interchangeable? What you said is in no way limited to mens' experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/24 03:01 AM
6

No, none of this. I'd never "surrender" to a man. That's stupid. I'm my own person and would never feel comfortable being completely reliant on someone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/24 12:29 AM
1

This is so stupid. You think women aren’t providing for men in marriages? There’s a lot more to provide than just a pay cheque. If men were such great “providers”, why are women divorcing them so frequently? Marriage is unnecessary in general. It’s terrible for women. Maybe slightly less terrible for men. Still terrible overall.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/24 09:51 PM

One of the most common gripes women in long term relationships have, is that they feel like they’re constantly showing love to their partners, while he rarely reciprocates. For example - she plans elaborate and thoughtful gifts for him (and his family members), but when her birthday or Mother’s Day rolls around, he does nothing, or almost nothing (wilting flowers from the grocery store and a cheap bath bomb etc). Women are socialised from birth to do these things. Maybe you don’t see it in early…

It's one of the primary arguments on this sub. Apparently if a man is short then he will be single forever. Weird though, how evolution hasn't bred short people out, since none of them are able to reproduce.

Being committed to a partner is not a conservative value. That’s just being a decent person. Also sharing evidence from The American Spectator and a single TikTok isn't exactly a watertight argument. Your little theory would work the same way for women too. Unhealthy, poor, homeless, diseases, obese, drug addicted scumbag women are just as unlikely to be married. And Clooney and DiCaprio are clearly outliers. Completely unreasonable to cite them as sources.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 02:23 AM

Where do you get this idea that only healthy, fit men are getting married? And that only women have choices in relationships? Just because nobody wants to be with you doesn't mean this is the case for everyone. Women are constantly pursuing men, waiting for them to ask them out or ask them to get married. Your comments make no sense.

Why do you think that?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/24 08:06 AM

Because we're trained from birth to think it's desirable and that if we don't do it we risk winding up a crazy old cat lady. But plenty of women are waking up to the scam and just avoiding it altogether. More and more of us were raised on the idea that we can do anything - we don't have to just be someone's wife. Which is bad news for all the redpill men who grew up on a diet of "there's a woman waiting to marry you and wash your undies and have your kids and have sex with you all the time!"
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/24 08:06 AM

Women are brought up on a diet of rom coms and "don't become a lonely old woman surrounded by cats!!!" We're taught we have to catch a man who will pick us to be his wife. Even if he's a bit of a dick who contributes little to our lives, we're supposed to be grateful he chose us - we're so lucky to be saved from a sad and lonely life with cats. Now we can have a wedding! How fun! This sets relationships up for failure. Women get married expecting a fairy tale ending. Then they realise they have …

Rubbish. Women aren't better off married. We're sold the idea that we have to do it, so women continue to seek it. But we benefit far less than men do. Study after study shows this. Married men are healthier, earn more, have more free time.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/24 06:22 AM

I don't care about marriage, but if you want a LTR you need to be clear with each other about your plans. If one of you wants kids and one doesn't, you're asking for trouble.

Not sure where you got "shaming" from. I think it's pretty common knowledge that a doctor would earn more than a person collecting garbage. they def would prefer saying ' I'm dating a doctor ' instead of dating a garbage man. Do you really think that any woman would prefer dating a "garbage man" over a doctor? Why is it bad for woman (or men) to seek a partner who they don't have to prop up financially?

This reads like “I was smacked as a child and I turned out ok, so I’ll smack my kids as much as I like”. You can still be a man while experiencing and showing these emotions. If everyone taught their sons that, then it would be normal and not an issue. And as an added benefit, perhaps it would be safer for women to walk alone at night too. See how that works? And BTW, anger is also an emotion. We don’t seem to have a problem teaching men to express that whenever they like.

Could you try any harder to misunderstand my point? If boys are taught that it’s not masculine or manly or whatever stupid term you like to show that they’re scared etc, they’ll bottle it up and not show it. Of course they’ll still ‘experience’ it. They just won’t show it and won’t get support from anyone to handle it. She can work hard to look after kids (and also have a paid job, ideally). Neither of these is less valuable to the family. This happens all the time. Men always think they want kids, until they realise just what having kids actually entails. Also, women have been trained from birth to believe that their goal in life is to be "picked" by a man and chosen to be a wife and mother. They're so desperate for this happy ending that they'll put up with a fair amount of rubbish to achieve it. But once they have kids they start to realise just how terrible their so called "partners" are and they either try to get him to step …

Ah of course, she can get a full time job! And he will obviously help by picking up the slack at home. /s Professional women end up working part time or leaving the workforce altogether everyday because they realise nobody else is going to take care of things at home. Most men never even think twice about this - they just assume they can carry on working full time while she carries the load of the kids and the house and everything that comes with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/24 12:20 PM

Weirdly enough, men don't tend to broadcast this before they have kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/24 10:25 AM

20 hours PAID work per week. They also have 3 kids in this scenario. But let's assume she loves every minute of the time she spends looking after kids, cooking and cleaning, organising play dates, paying bills, buying gifts for family members etc etc etc. I can't imagine why women might want the opportunity to work outside the home when the alternative is staying home and dealing with all this crap on their own.

Exactly. It's super common.

Lol ok mate, tell me what you'd do in the first five years.

You think just because a guy earns money that women should bow down to him and be grateful. But for what? We can earn money on our own now. We don't have to put up with the pathetic scraps men like you seem to think we should be grateful for. It's time for you to realise that women can and do see men as more than just cash registers. We expect a partnership where we discuss how much we each contribute to paid and unpaid work.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/24 08:08 AM

More likely he never asked her if that's what she wanted. He probably works 70 hours a week because he wants to be out of the house since she's always "nagging" him.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/24 06:15 AM

The OP didn't say she left for another man. Why are you so sure she left for someone else?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/24 03:30 AM

You've clearly never spent any time around small children. Or women. You're deluded if you seriously think you could have a child with someone and then ignore the child for FIVE WHOLE YEARS without the two of them packing up and leaving you. But since this is just one of the reasons why you're against men raising infants between 0 and 5 years, I'd love to hear the others.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/24 03:27 AM
9

If there's a better option out there for her, why wouldn't she take it? (and I'm not just talking about another man). Women are realising that they can expect more from a man. They can get a job and support themselves - they don't need to put up with a hopeless man who does nothing to help them other than provide a salary.

You're just telling/hearing his side of the story. Her side goes: We had three kids because he wanted more, but he never helped much. Wanted a medal if he changed a dirty diaper. Wouldn't even know the names of the kids' school teachers and needed reminders on their birthdays. He was always there at the birthday parties though - smiling and accepting congratulations from everyone about what a great dad he was, while I slaved away in the kitchen to organise everything and make the day special. /r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 10:40 AM

You realise she isn't the only one who can take care of birth control, right? Ever heard of a condom? If she says she doesn't want you to wear one, then you don't have sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/24 07:11 AM
4

Well yeah, obviously. But the question was specifically aimed at men avoiding child support.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/24 07:10 AM

Don't want to get "baby trapped"? Don't have sex. Seriously. If you're so terrified that a woman will have a baby and come after you for child support, then you shouldn't be having sex. If that's too difficult for you, at the very least you should be making sure you're taking responsibility for birth control.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/24 05:11 AM

I wouldn't ask, because marriage isn't in my best interests either. Men benefit more from marriage than women. They're healthier, earn more, have more success in their careers... I'm not sure why they're so keen to avoid it, to be honest.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/24 12:33 AM

I think when women are young they may think this would be a good arrangement. Especially if they don't have a 'career' type job. But I know very few women who've had kids and then want to stay at home with them full time. I love my kid, but there's no way I want to be with her 24/7.

Nothing about this video is impressive. It's boring. I assume he's trying to get internet points for doing housework and being nice to his partner, ie, doing the absolute bare minimum she should expect.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/24 04:12 AM
1

I think a man who does all this stuff is attractive. But a man who does all this stuff and posts a tiktok about it to get internet points? Not attractive at all. I don't need my relationship to be performed for people to gawk at online. If a woman posted this video like this everyone would be like "so what? That's a normal day for you".
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/24 04:07 AM

You (and the OP) are confusing two different things. Real life women who expect men to pay. Online women who say they expect men to pay for dinner because they got dressed up and put make up on. How do you know 2 is the reason for 1? I’d hazard a guess that the women who are letting you pay aren’t really giving it that much thought. They’re benefitting from a societal norm and you’re letting them.

“Better, stronger men” - describe to me how they’re different? In my experience, the men who are worst at this are the ones who are more “red pilled”.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/24 02:32 PM

Another non-sensical post. Women don’t expect men to pay for a date because she got dressed up and wore makeup. These two things are unrelated.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/24 08:54 AM

That’s a great plan - I wish more men could do this. So many just take a week or two after the birth, when the baby is super cute and everyone is telling you how great they are and bringing you gifts and food. Unfortunately it doesn’t usually stay that way!

Obviously when a woman is pregnant and breastfeeding she’s doing more of the work. But when kids are a bit older there’s no reason things can’t be shared more equally. However, I don’t think anyone expects it to be exactly equal. Just that each person does their fair share of work (both paid and unpaid) and gets their fair share of leisure time. This isn’t difficult to understand. I think part of how things go awry when people have kids is because women typically stay home with babies for a whil…

/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/24 11:00 PM

We’re talking about coding jobs. Not nursing. But if you’d like to get into whataboutisms, go right ahead. I’ll start. How is it that jobs dominated by men (like software development) are highly compensated, when jobs dominated by women (like nursing and childcare) are so poorly compensated?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/24 01:15 PM

Did I say somewhere that men shouldn’t be in coding jobs? And where did I (or any woman for that matter) blame men for every problem in my life? You’re projecting pretty hard.

I’m not suggesting this can’t be done. Plenty of families have this worked out. But even in the most egalitarian relationships, I know a lot of women who still carry the bulk of the mental load. Especially when it comes to the kids. If we try asking the men in our lives to take this stuff on, it goes one of two ways: It just doesn’t get done (“oh little Susie doesn’t actually need ballet classes does she?” Meanwhile little Susie is crying to Mum about how everyone else does ballet and it’s too l…

Out of all this, the weaponised incompetence is the thing you’re going to take issue with? If she didn’t work this stuff out, it would never happen. The clothes would all be a lovely shade of greige. The kids would be treating the cockroaches as pets.

“Women hate coding” is the kind of stupid BS that this sub is filled with. Maybe some women hate it, but you can’t just tar us all with the same brush. Plenty of men hate it too. Per another comment in this thread, more than 20% of software developers are now women, and this number continues to grow. We don’t hate coding.

<image> And when he’s the sole earner, she’s doing nearly 5 times more caregiving and housework than he is! I’m all for using data to support your statements. But not if you’re just going to make it up.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/24 05:08 AM

When she is the primary earner she is still doing more caregiving and housework! The only time he does more is if she’s the sole earner, and even then, not much. Yet he’s getting almost double the amount of leisure time she is. <image>
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/24 05:06 AM

The first one, which is about “egalitarian” marriages shows women doing 11.5 hours per week on caregiving and housework. Her husband does 7. The difference between those two numbers is… NOT 2. And BTW, it’s not generally the women in egalitarian relationships who are complaining about this stuff. They already feel that the load is shared (even if they’re doing more). <image>
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/24 05:03 AM

I can’t see anything in there that suggests only 2 hours more. Everything suggests women do more than that in every scenario. Even the one where the woman is the primary or sole earner! She still does more 🙄 Perhaps you can highlight where it actually says women only do 2 hours more per week.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/24 04:48 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/24 04:23 AM

To be honest, it’s not the housework side of things that most women complain about. In my experience it’s two things: Not being appreciated for this work. Women often find themselves thanking men for “helping” with housework, but men rarely thank their partners for this. It’s just assumed she’ll do it. The mental load around running a household and caring for kids. Who notices you’re out of toilet paper and adds it to the list? Who researches the five different ballet classes your kid could go t…

What, exactly, is your point? I don’t recall saying that the women were doing 100% of the work. You’re just arguing for the sake of arguing, which is stupid when you’re clearly wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/24 03:23 AM

But they do accept this scenario. To the tune of 54% of families surveyed in the research YOU shared. Why do you think they don’t? And it’s not bait. It’s completely realistic. I’m in numerous online mums groups positively overflowing with women complaining about this exact scenario. Do you think they’re all making it up?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/24 03:13 AM
8

So when men care for children, that’s somehow going against nature?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/24 03:04 AM

Why do you think being a woman makes someone more “naturally geared to caring”?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/24 02:54 AM

They’re not stuck in these relationships. They’ve just been conditioned to accept them. But if you wonder why women are angry, maybe consider that this is part of the reason. And yes, 54% is a majority. I don’t see a majority of men (6%) stepping up. Plus, my initial statement was that many women accept the scenario in the original post every day. Which was correct based on the research you kindly provided. The point of the post was about whether men would be willing to accept this scenario, and…

Mate, you just made my point for me. More than half of families surveyed where both parents work full time (in 2015, not exactly recent) said women are doing more. That’s not to say that the men are doing more in 46% of families. No, men only do more in 6% of these families. Nice work completely misunderstanding the first result from google though.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/24 01:27 AM

How is this any more ragebaity than the mountains of posts from men about sex being mandatory and women being mean to men all the time? All she’s asking is whether or not you’d be willing to accept a situation that women accept every day.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/24 11:28 PM

So the thing that nothing would make you more depressed to do is what your wife does every day. I hope you thank her regularly.

She didn’t say most married women are the breadwinners. She did say they usually work outside the home while also doing the majority of the childcare/home/mental load work. This is absolutely the case and arguing about it doesn’t make it any less true.

Men: I just want a beautiful woman who takes care of herself. Fit, healthy, active (no fatties!). She also needs to be able to support herself (no gold diggers!). She should be able to cook and clean and take pride in her home and appearance (no slobs!). a) no birth control or limited access means more babies b) limited health care means fewer babies survive to adulthood, so you have to have more c) people live longer, and in many developed countries (especially the US) there’s a very limited social safety net for old people. Better to have a paid off house and a million in the bank than live on the streets with a crowd of kids.

Why don’t you think they’d be on there to look at porn? And I don’t think it’s unreasonable for people to create an account to check it out. I think you’re reaching if you’re trying to suggest that 28% of women in that age bracket are keen to start having sex for money.

If you want a woman to think you're "good" at sex, you don't need loads of practice. You just need to focus on getting her off. Ask her what she likes and go from there. Be generous.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/23 07:13 AM

Well yeah. Why shouldn't they? If a woman stays home to raise kids so a man can go out and work, then of course she's entitled to compensation when he leaves her for a younger model. I don't understand why you have a problem with that. Was she supposed to be working on her career from midnight to 3am when she had free time?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/23 01:12 AM

How does initiating divorce mean that the women are not "marriage worthy" (whatever that is supposed to mean)? Wouldn't it indicate that the problem was with the men, and the women just woke up to how shit it was being married to them?

Because, per my and everyone else's comments, we're not prostitutes.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/23 12:29 PM
6

You could write this whole diatribe again, replacing "man" with "woman" and it would have the same meaning.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/23 12:10 PM
13

You seem to think that the only need a woman has is to be financially secure, and the only way she can get that is through a man. You're wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/23 11:29 AM
20

Why can't women make their own comfortable lives? I have my own career and ability to earn money. I don't need to prostitute myself to live a comfortable life.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/23 11:26 AM
10

As a real life woman, I would say no to this question. And so would most of the others on this thread apparently.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/23 11:25 AM

Why are you so certain that women are, by nature, "transactional"?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/23 11:24 AM
9

You don't know me, yet you're accusing me of lying because of my "nature". That's pretty stupid. Why did you ask the question if you were going to accuse women who respond of lying? Do you know anything about how happy relationships work? Or women? You're saying that women would happily live with someone who constantly cheats on them, yet she has to remain faithful, just so she can be a SAHM with lots of money? You really believe that all women see men as is a pay cheque and a way to have kids. …
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/23 11:16 AM
16

What a stupid question. Of course not. But then, I'm a real life woman not the imaginary 2D cut out of a woman you've conjured up who just sees men as a way to get money.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/23 06:33 AM
8

So, you only see a woman as a means to have kids?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/23 06:30 AM

If you were 31 you wouldn't take a woman seriously over the age of 25. What happens when you're 40?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/23 05:04 AM

You'd better hope you don't age in that scenario.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/23 04:58 AM

Mate, every post in this sub is written this way. And most of them are men making broad generalisations about women. I've said before that women make sweeping generalizations based on minorities and outliers, and this post just confirms my belief. So one woman making a sweeping generalisation confirms your belief that all women make sweeping generalisations? See how circular your logic is there?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/23 04:56 AM
9

A man who thinks I'm valueless once I'm over 25 is a man who is valueless to me. Why would I even consider him to begin with?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/23 04:52 AM
1

You need to change your mindset on this. Go into relationships with an open mind, not thinking "I'll just treat you as 'semi-casual' (whatever that is) and as a placeholder until I'm ready for the real thing".
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/23 04:14 AM

And yet this sub is still full of men trying to manipulate one into having sex with them.

Right about what? That women are malicious and bitter?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/23 10:08 AM

🙄 they’re defending themselves from revenge porn. They’re not the ones starting it.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/23 10:03 AM
2

FFS, I never suggested that women were malicious or bitter. I said they’d ask for pics in exchange for pics of them, because women realise they need to protect themselves from men who can potentially turn on them in a second if they don’t behave the way they want. This isn’t malicious, it’s smart.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/23 09:58 AM

Out of touch with what? Our own gender? I can guarantee women here understand more than men do about how women feel and what they want.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/23 09:46 AM

“You must be a treat of a woman”. Not insulting at all. I never suggested women were malicious or bitter or petty. I just said they don’t like pictures of dicks. Because they don’t. Ask any group of women and you’ll get a similar response. Of course there are exceptions, but most women do not enjoy seeing photos of your dick. If you’re actively in a relationship with someone and she’s into it, then sure, go your hardest. But women in general would prefer not to see your dick. Have you noticed th…

Mate, no trauma here. Just a woman who knows many other women and none of them enjoy a dick pic. And I’m not suggesting a circle of women giggling over your videos. That may be your fantasy but it’s pretty unrealistic. And you don’t need the insults. Really doesn’t add to your response.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/23 09:32 AM

Oh FFS, nobody wants your unsolicited pic. Seriously. It’s considered sexual assault for a reason. What positive reactions have you received?

Where the hell are you going with your last question? How does sex drive have anything to do with fear of being raped? Are you trying to suggest that if women are hornier than men they’d enjoy being raped? That’s pretty sick. And no, women don’t accuse most men of being rapists. Just the ones who actually rape them. This whole post is terrible.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/23 08:41 AM

She really doesn’t. No women wants a dick pic. Ever. Especially an unsolicited one. If she asks for one she’s just making sure she has something of yours in exchange for pics she might share with you.

I think it's not so much the 30 and 40 year olds who are terrified of aging. It's the 20 year olds who are constantly online listening to the vitriol about older women who are terrified. They're the ones getting botox and lip fillers at 22. As a 40 year old woman, while I'm not exactly delighted about the physical signs of aging, I'm comfortable enough in myself to not let it bother me. I can focus on the good things in my life and just get on with it. Being 40 is much better than being 20 IMO, …

Why are men still doing it if it’s reducing their social status? Maybe that’s how it is on the internet, but IRL that just isn’t the case.

That’s not “the real world” though. Fathers are only considered “buffoons” if they’re hopeless partners and parents. If they do a decent job of these things (and let’s be honest, the bar is low) they’re congratulated and revered.

I'm sure it's the case for men too. But the post was specifically related to women.

When I tried to explain it to him he threw up his hands and yelled at me for criticising him all the time. He still doesn't know how to put on a load of washing." I said "maybe it's because you're not a nice person to be around". That doesn't mean you're a bad person, or that you're evil. You might be, but that's not what I said. However, if you spend all your time whining online about how lonely you are because you can't find a woman who will let you reenact your favourite porn scenes with her, then yeah, you're a bad person. Relationships need to go both ways.

Let me get this straight. Men are shamed by other men for showing “negative” emotions (not sure what makes an emotion negative, but ok). Women tell men to let out their emotions. But then when they do, women shame men for letting our their emotions? So I have questions. 1. Why are women being blamed for men being horrible to one another? 2. Why would women invite men to let out their emotions if they're going to then criticise them for it? 3. Who is saying men have to tolerate people saying "men…

Why would I (or any other woman) be empathetic towards men who clearly hate us? You do nothing but toss insults our way, and then have the nerve to suggest that we should be nice to you. It goes both ways. Not to mention that anytime we try to speak to you logically you shut us down with the “but women are so mean to men and all they want is our money wah” rhetoric. Perhaps try showing some empathy to the women you encounter, rather than just thinking of them as someone to add to your “body coun…

“Literally common knowledge” - in misogynist men’s rights subreddits. The fact is, there are men who are idiots and there are women who are idiots. You can’t tar everyone with the same brush.

/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 06:26 AM

An article with relevant sources linked that prove my point? I’m not sure why that’s a problem. You’ve provided no sources to back up your claims that marriage is so awful for men.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 05:44 AM
2

You’re the one scared of getting married because you think someone is going to “divorce rape” you. Maybe don’t give them reason to do that in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 05:41 AM
2

And I didn’t say that lesbians break up because they were incompatible. Maybe one of them is at fault. And I never said women were never at fault when heterosexual marriages don’t work out.

lol no benefit for men to being married? Studies on this show that men do far better from marriage than women.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 05:29 AM

Of course it does, but it doesn’t happen everywhere or in every relationship. All these posts and comments make out like every woman is a gold digger just waiting for the chance to lay around at home while her husband toils around the clock to keep her happy.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 05:26 AM
-1

You’re talking about two different issues. I don’t know about lesbian relationships, but I’d imagine it’s partly because women realise they don’t have to stay together and are smart enough to get out when they realise it’s not working.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 05:25 AM
4

Nobody owes you their company. If you’re lonely maybe it’s because you’re not a nice person to be around. You certainly can’t force women to spend time with you just to stop you being lonely.

The question doesn’t say they only care about lesbian marriages. They cite stats on all relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 05:11 AM

Of course they do - they have to find a new servant/sex slave/child care worker to pick up the slack. Divorced women, however, realise they dodged a bullet and enjoy having one fewer child to take care of. And no, or course I’m not suggesting this applies to “all men” or “all women”.

It’s because women are waking up to the fact that marriage is a scam designed to keep them in servitude to dopey, ungrateful men. Marriage is far better for men than it is for women. Why would we stay with men who don’t appreciate us, treat us as servants and expect us to have sex with them on demand? Sure, plenty of men are fine and decent partners. Those relationships are more likely to survive. But as a woman, if you find yourself married to a man who isn’t a decent partner, you don’t have to…

Why do men on these subs always think I'm talking about myself? I'm not a stay at home mother. Plenty of women stay home because it's not financially feasible for them to go to work when their kids are small. So yes, they do sacrifice their careers. It's pretty rare for men to step up and offer to stay home with kids in these scenarios, because they realise how boring it is and don't want to miss out on career progression. They just assume women will do it, and a lot of the time they do. Also, w…

Yes the woman is paying half of that, by contributing her time. You're making my argument for me. No actual money needs to change hands, this is a hypothetical scenario. If one person stays home with kids while the other person works 40 hours a week, the working partner should contribute equally when they're home. Otherwise they're getting significantly more leisure time than the non-working partner, which will lead to resentment and a breakdown in the relationship. And btw, I'm not a stay at ho…

What stay at home mother expects her partner to do 50% of all the tasks? Obviously that isn't possible if he's working outside the home. However, he should pull his weight when he's home. Otherwise he's working 40 hours per week and she's on call 168 hours. A man having a job doesn't mean he gets to tap out when he's not at work while his stay at home slave manages the household.

Are you suggesting that women who stay at home don't know how to drive? And that all women just cook hamburger helper? Try finding someone to run your household and look after your children 24/7 for $30k a year. I wish you luck. And if you value women so little, why would you want one in your home in the first place?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/23 04:01 AM

She's sacrificing her career by staying home with kids (which TBH isn't that fun 80% of the time) so that he can go out and have a career.

"the woman sits at home and doesn't make money" Have you ever looked after children? It certainly doesn't involve just "sitting at home". If you believe that, perhaps you should try finding a paid employee who will work 24/7 to look after children, cook, clean, do all the mental labour related to children and a household. It'll cost you a lot more than $100k a year.

You're talking about two completely different jobs. Taking care of a baby is nothing like working in an office all day.
