I think the issue with this kind of stuff is that generalising is extremely normalised. There are perverts who catcall women, it is unfortunate but true. And when I complain about that on the internet, I will get bombarded with phrases like "all men are trash". We live in a system where it's not just okay to blame all men for the actions of few, it is expected.

I'm fat and I agree with your view. Being fat isn't something that should be normalised.

You can want a better life for your family members without allying yourself with feminism? Feminism doesn't own the concept of equality.

I'm watching a TV show with an actor who is a minor. The people sexualizing said actor on Twitter are very much real. To clarify, they're not sexualizing the character he's playing, no. They're sexualizing the actual actor who is a minor.

As a woman, I can honestly tell you women get away with so much shit like this. I'm currently watching a show in which a 17-year old is a main character. It makes me so incredibly uncomfortable to see how much he's being sexualised on twitter by older women. For context, I'm 21 and it feels weird. There are women who are 30+ who do this shit. This is so not okay. If the gender was reversed, no one would be okay with it. We need to stop normalising sexual harrassment against boys.

Yeah, I had trouble understanding it too. What the fuck. I didn't know humans could be so vile. She's so awful.

I do feel bad for the kid but that's on his mom. Could this have been handled better? Yeah, but you can't really blame the guy who found out that the child he's been raising for 5 years isn't even is. That can't be easy either.

This is something I really think about. Most (if not all) children spend majority of their childhood surrounded by women. In most cases, it is the women who does most of child care for obvious reasons, teacher for the lower grades are mostly women, most nannies are women -- so where exactly is the system going wrong that they'd blame toxic masculinity for all of society's problems?

even setting a deadline for that is such a red flag. To YOU. You have different values and that's fine. Where I'm from, 3 years is plenty of time to get to know someone and get married and even have a child. It's okay that you want to spend more time getting to know someone before you commit to something. Generally, a lot of women I know prefer to have children around the time they're 26 or 27, because it's just so much easier to handle child care when they're younger. It also gives them some ti…

I don't see a problem? You communicated what you wanted in life and she respectfully distanced herself because it was completely different from what she wanted. 23 is old enough to know what you want for the future at least. There's really no point in taking things further when you both disagree on something as huge as having children. I really don't understand what exactly your problem is with that entire interaction.

This is dumb. She's clearly saying she doesn't care what a man proposes to her with. If you can't even give someone a pretzel without it being a big deal, then idek what to say...

I remember when this happened. All the feminists were praising the girl and said that "she did what she had to". She killed 18 people, including children. This is just horrifying and shows the true nature of feminism, if anything.

They believe the feminist. Because any women who isn't a feminist is obviously a brainwashed "pick me" with internalised misogyny.

I love Tomorrow! Especially that episode about the comfort women. Throughout history women were forced into this kind of stuff. They were forced to sell their body and dignity. Many committed suicide and many died of STDs and stuff. Meanwhile, certain women these days willfully take off their clothes and sell their dignity and call it "empowerment". Feminism is the worst thing that happened to women.

I am forever amazed at sex workers demanding respect. Like you're in this extremely undignified profession and clearly have no respect for yourself, but you're surprised that the kind of men who use your services are not the most chivalrous or respectful? My grandmother was a librarian -- she received a lot of respect from her male coworkers. My mother works in IT and recieves a lot of respect from her coworkers. I'm still a student, but I do some freelance work on the side and I've always recie…

By this logic, why should anyone care about anyone else? We check in on our friends and support them (regardless of gender) because we're nice people. Of course, I don't expect a feminist to know anything about being a nice person.

Why do you people even want ti participate in those subs? Feminists can't handle opposing views, yeah we get it. Why is every other post on this post about people getting banned from feminist subs after saying something against their ideology? Did you honestly not expect that outcome? Are you truly surprised?

It's not his will though. The pregnant woman had sex which obviously causes pregnancy. It's her will if anything.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
