Honestly I think at this point there's no salvaging a marriage that's gone this way. The appropriate thing to do would be leave but we all know women never want to freely give up the security that marriage provides. The OP just needs to realise that she only wants sex from him and doesn't actually love him, and get out before he gets damaged in all this.

This is what a lot of people never acknowledge or discuss. I'd say most men probably settle when they get married in one way or another. The difference is men can put aside their unrealistic desires and past experiences and love their partner, whereas for women they can never get over what they had or wish they had.

Agreed. I'm a part of Gen Z in the UK, more specifically England, and we seem to have a smoking addiction here as opposed to vape/juul. Everyone seems to look down all the time, not much liveliness to be had. A lot of us have no real role models, not even our families. I know of people that literally do drugs with their parents. Not sure what the future it like for us.

It's irrelevant how easy it is. Relationships aren't a competition of who can do the most work... So long as I have a home cooked meal waiting for me after work, a clean house, clean laundry and other household chores done, and children that have been picked up from school, fed, and taken care of, I'd have no problem being the sole breadwinner.
