Also, after church ends, people usually make plans to eat lunch....so that's a pretty easy nonchalant way to ask a girl out.

Well some churches are great because they establish a culture of individual and spiritual growth within a group support mentality of like minded people. Some churches are cults, and say or think they are encouraging individual and spiritual growth, but can actually be hindering or harming people. I've known about guys who use church to do what you've mentioned. Doesn't take long for the ladies in that church to figure them out. And just to be clear, the right type of church is a great place for …

I think you can learn through both. Actively observing and doing. Do you think a surgeon only learned how to perform an appendectomy by only doing it themselves.....I'm certain they had to watch quite a few before making a cut on their own. Competency involves both seeing, doing and continually learning - even past the point when you think you've learned and done it all.

Those are the questions a woman reflects upon when choosing a partner

Indeed - safety is key. The safety a woman seeks can be either physically and/or emotionally- I think that's what OP meant. You are correct. We as women base our selection on safety.....can you protect me, can you provide for me, can you love me, can you value me and most importantly, can I trust you do all of them? I'm willing to do my part, can I be vulnerable and trust you to do yours? Am I safe with you...?

I agree with the fundamental statements made. Most mentally sound women indeed choose a man based on his strengths/quality (which is based upon that woman's perception of strength - being either physically and/or emotionally.... ideally both...which puts men in a difficult predicament, since they must be strong on at least one if not multiple fronts; whereas women are more equipped and valued by men based on their emotional and nurturing aptitude). Men do indeed need the support, encouragement a…

When you have a Happy relationship - meaning there is enjoyment and fulfillment from both parties which includes the barisis of an intimate and emotional connection, then visceral attraction most always follows

No.....he loves himself and the validity of attracting other women more than he loves his wife. A couple should love the other AS much or if not more than they love themselves. To love is to be vulnerable and to love with only one partner is to be vulnerable together. The second you bring a third party in, you are devaluing and limiting the vulnerability with another. Just my personal opinion

I didn't think I'd like or agree with this subcommunity as much as I do given the face value of the general 7 questions/statements I've looked at. So as a woman, let me help you guys out. Do NOT start as her friend. She will see you as a friend. Yeah, maybe when the opportunity arises she MIGHT see you as more...but that's a rare occurrence. Instead, I would oblige you to shoot your shot and if she declined because she's taken just wait, don't try and don't take a sideline seat. Leave her be and…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
