I had to look up what 'dread game' was. Quite frankly, anybody who treats another human being like that doesn't deserve to have them.

Pretty much.

I saw your other comment on the thread, thanks for clarifying the definitions for me!

"Doing things for someone that doesn't do anything for you" isn't the same as being uncaring or "barely registering you exist." Maybe my perception is skewed because I have a lot of contact with disabled people, but this mindset seems to treat relationships as very contractual and businesslike rather than intricate, intimate, and sometimes very altruistic. But I think I get your point. There is a line where the situation can be abusive.

Well, do you have a better explanation for it then? "Doing something for someone who doesn't do anything for you" isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Ah, so blue pill is the healthy mentality and red pill is the toxic one?

Non-poster, just curious what the difference between blue pill and red pill is?

I remember you from a previous thread, where you effectively argued that women trapped men into relationships by lying about birth control and having babies, but denied that men have an obligation to use birth control. I also remember you whinging and moaning about all the downvotes you were receiving; with that in context, are you, in this specific example, men? Edit: Two points. Firstly, I think you have serious issues with women that you aren't interested in changing. You suggest that people …

A lot of men don't seem to understand the implications of birth control either. Men will forego a condom for 15 seconds of pleasure but expect women to take long-term and potentially damaging medication for them? It's, like, take some responsibility for your life. Wear a condom.

The thing that OP doesn't understand is that certain medications can make birth control ineffective. Some work with anti-biotics, others don't. Diarrhea, constipation and vomiting can also hinder effectiveness of birth control. Taking birth control out of the two-hour window can hinder the effectiveness of birth control.

You haven't provided any argument in his favour. OP said that this guy both knew he didn't want a child and had been warned that she wanted to 'trap' him; why didn't he then at least use a condom? It takes two to tango, but let's not forget that the burden of children primarily reside with women. For him, the situation was extremely avoidable and I don't feel bad for him in the slightest. Edit: quite frankly it's a bit ironic to say that the partner that does want the child should unilaterally t…

Wear a condom. Get a vasectomy. Birth control is an extremely problematic solution anyway, having other forms of medication or missing a daily dosage by a couple of hours impairs its effectiveness.

Why is it her duty to use birth control? Condoms and vasectomies are extremely safe and effective form of male birth control, far safer and more effective than the pill. Quite frankly, I don't believe the partner should have a say in whether or not someone chooses to keep or terminate the pregnancy, it's a violation of bodily autonomy and easily avoidable for men.

I'm interested to see what this nonsense is as well. Edit: sorry I didn't provide an actual answer, just trying to remind myself to check.

Don't push too hard, it'll just annoy her. Read the mood, say that you would like to apologise but let her decide when she's ready to talk.

A lot of these commentators are suggesting that you contact her. I would recommend finding out from mutual friends if she's willing to talk to you first.

People with healthy self-esteem and healthy relationships don't spend their leisure time picking silly fights or trying to prove their 'masculinity' to strangers on the internet.

It's just pointless. If you ever wonder why women don't give you the time of day, consider how you spend your leisure time.

Bad vibes. Congratulations to everyone who managed to leave this toxic, hateful ideology. Let this post be a reminder about how much healthier post-red pill life is.

The spouse 'divorce raped' by the courts is usually the spouse with primary custody of children. So, statistically, more often women.

It seems like you've only asked this question to get ideas on how to be abusive towards women. I wish you all the best in eventually breaking away from this toxic ideology.

The best way to allay your worries is to have an open conversation about how it's bothering you. She may have found another hobby to keep her entertained during quarantine, or may feel put out that she usually messages you first (a big thing for some women), or may feel like she's bothering you at work, etc.

'You can criticise women in their behaviours without disrespecting them and still seeing them as human.' Yes, I know. What I mean is that you display a type of 'us vs. them' mentality when it comes to women, differentiating your experience as something wholly different. Women may be socialised differently, but they are not inherently any different from men. Be the type of person that you would want to date. When you are dating, recognise that men and women are culturally inclined to resort to ab…

From this post and the responses you've provided to other commentators, it seems that your issues with 'attracting' women stems from unattractive and disrespectful ideas about women. If your self-improvement isn't designed to challenge these ideas about women, if your self-improvement is focused on the goal of attracting women, then it is not truly self-improvement. Focus on yourself. Women aren't nearly as silly and vapid as many would assume.

It seems to me that the influence of the confirmation theory allows OP to distinguish his generalisations from other members of the movement.

Your words: 'I've been an active member of r/MGTOW for over a year now... I've never claimed to be Red Pilled or MGTOW, I've always been a lurker' and 'I agree with a large portion of the ideology.' You may distinguish yourself by degree, but the character of your beliefs, even submerged in an artificial dialogue about 'biology' or (falsely) implied rationality, will nonetheless mark you as part of that movement.

This was a troubling read/watch. Kudos to you for leaving the Reddit group, but it sounds like you have more reflection to do on your ideas about men and women before you can claim to have truly 'left the movement.'

It sounds like your objectification and hatred of women stems from the insecurities you hold about yourself. I agree with the commentators on the thread that you should challenge how you see women by recognising women as real, rather than aspect, individuals. However I also think you should consider how your hatred of women stems from issues about yourself, asking: If women created hookup cultures, essentially being the 'gatekeepers' of sex - does that make you feel worthless? Do you feel like y…
