Nyer here. Most people just want to get to their destination. They don't want to be bothered. when a stranger approaches them, it is usually perceived as a threat. Or it is an out of towner. Besides the fact that the people surrounding you will be checking out your conversation the whole time.

Omg yes!!! Intelligence is a HUGE turn on. It's the know-it-alls and braggers who are boring. It is not contrived conversations about politics that a woman is interested in. It is a combination of wit, cleverness and being well rounded

It's not intelligence that is a turn off to women. It is the bragging and arrogance that is a turn off. Listening to how amazing you are all night is boring. We can tell if youre amazing pretty quickly through your observations and quick wit. A woman also wants to feel intelligent so don't be condesening.

That's not what I meant. Youre right. You should always take care of yourself and look feminine. But when you see girls in really tight, super short skirts, 5" heels that they can't walk in, no stockings in the middle of winter and tons of make-up - just to hang out in a regular bar; they just exude desperation. If you live in NYC and walk through Murray hill on a Saturday night, you know what I'm talking about.

I wound up marrying the guy I approached. I sat next to him at a wedding and said something funny. I would definitely suggest not overdressing in heels and short skirts. It looks desperate.

Nah. Smart guys are the hottest! Creative guys are initially charming but can be flaky, irrational dreamers and always 'on'. Gets old. Female here btw

Is it because you automatically use your dominant hand to think about the person you love?

That is mean. Also, it may fuel her into thinking she can seduce you away from those girls. Just be up front. Although uncomfortable, it will be better for you in the long run as opposed to being avoidant. Tell her although you had fun, it isn't going to go any further or even continue as it was so she needs to move forward. That's it.

Precisely. Trying to out the blame on you when it does happen

Just write back on fb: what's up? That way she will feel like she is interrupting you. You'll have the upper hand

Exactly. It's like saying, "I've never done this before" lol

From a female perspective, don't play games, just text. Believe me, we are trying to figure out if we should text or not. The guy should take charge. Just don't come off as needy. Once a day is cool.

Believe me, I'm starting to date again. It's not easy. And the whole when to text/ not to text bs is so annoying. My advice as a girl, we want you to be in charge. I guarantee she is waiting by the phone wondering what she did wrong. Women are reluctant to call because they don't want to appear needy or desperate. Dont tell her you were too busy. I mean even the president of the US is busy but still manages a family. So we dont buy it. Just apologize for not getting back to her. Tell her you had…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
