Yeah I got to the part in the article where the lady was like “people wrote letters as an excuse to commit the terror the want to do” and it came across as not acknowledging what was being said in the letter as his reality but moreso as a “your bat shit crazy who gives a fuck what the reason was”. No one wants to admit there are reasons people stray down these terrible paths, they aren’t born monsters.

I’d say thankfully some sports are, albeit women are slowly invading these spaces in terms of the sport in general. However there are sports like basketball where there is no way women would be able to compete against the men and people will generally watch more of the male sport because of the physical difference.

It shockingly got taken down by Reddit then I get a notification weeks later saying “you’re abusing reddits reporting tool this is a warning, Reddit is a space for inclusion”. The comment is back up and they changed “men” to “they”. God I fucking hate Reddit lmao

Feedback loop is essentially the problem with societies views on men. I can chalk it up to a simple example like when someone says “why are you so mad?” When you weren’t mad but because they keep asking and assuming over and over you eventually become mad and then prove their point.

When there’s no one that’ll hold them accountable it is just a breeding ground for bad ideas and innocent lives being harmed. I’d be more open to feminism IF they clearly showed the ability to hold each other accountable in any sense because then a conversation can be had. Except it’s not. When it comes to men and violence men tend to rely on “physical” prowess because it gets to a point where thats the only thing they can do to express themselves in a way that they have control over. By that I mean since a majority of society doesn’t give a man the benefit of the doubt, expressing themselves isn’t believed fully or taken seriously. Yea in general what helps is truly finding your calling in life. I’m lucky, my calling is art which can take so many forms on top of being good with logic so I’m decent at programming to make good money while perusing this passion. I guess bottom line is the same, I’ve realized how absolutely fucked society can be throughout the history of life honestly and realized why the fuck the do I care so much about people who couldn’t give a rats ass about me. Life’s a lot easier this way.

Eh i think parents who push their kids to do well in school will do it to kids regardless of gender. Hell I’d argue the boys will get pushed harder because of the expectations of being a guy and having to succeed and provide which ironically will stress the boys out harder and make them burn out.

I’d 100% agree. A lot of the really obvious feminists who wear it on their chest that I’ve known personally were girls who got dumped by their ex or had a trash relationship etc. The irony of the gender issue is that women are allowed to be incels, society just accepts them more because they have inherent value therefore reasons to help them and give them the benefit of the doubt.
