This is like the copypasta telling guys to smear ballsweat on their face to attract women

Men who get cheated on never do. Damn right, but I know what I'm in. I am not complacent and I'm not blindly trusting. However if I do find out something happened, things will get extremely ugly, life-ruiningly so. Anyhow, the only reason I am continuing this in the first place is because she is the only one I've met that seems like a potential wife to have children with, and in the first stages of our relationship she was pretty much the ideal LTR for me, including the fact she's highly attract…

I don't think she is likely to cheat but I'm not blindly trusting her. How would you start re-establishing boundries? We live together on shared rent. Should I just fuck off for a while? It's all incredibly inconvenient. LTRs are such a drag, despite this girl seeming like a good potential wife in the start.

Time to move on. Perhaps. I was trying to think of ways to de-escalate this sort of shit though. I suspect she started being like this because I enabled it long ago by getting too angry. Unless you want to spend many years in prison, or fuck up your life in some other way, I recommend just dropping acquaintances that aren't fulfilling your expectations, rather than "beating the shit out of them". Maybe culture is different here but if I beat up a friend after he verbally assaulted me he wouldn't…

In other words, you're the victim-end of an abusive relationship? Maybe at this point. Met her when she was a virgin and she was completely in love with me and very polite for the first 1-2 years. Now it's all different.

Don't you have some responsibility if it's a long LTR? You can't have a raging toddler up in your face screaming in anger non stop. I mean, besides breaking up with a person like this is there a way to shut this sort of crap down?

I mean, if my kid started calling me a retard and dumb fuck I would not just let it slide, would you?

Are you supposed to just ignore it when she calls you a retard? How do you react to the first insult?

It simply turns into a swearing contest at that point.

I've fucked a few prior to this relationship, and had one prior LTR. Can you elaborate on what you think my crucial mistakes were. and what you think I should do now? In my view my mistakes were not moving on with the family shit (getting more money and telling her we're doing it) and also becoming more and more blatantly rude to her, letting anger control me.

Virgin, loyal, traditional, wants kids. Not all women are club sluts, even though being masculine is a requirement for all.

What are you gonna do about it?

Starting working out again this year. Gonna try to recover this shit. How do you make it out like you have other prospects without blatantly saying it? I tell her when other girls talk to me, that seems to spice her up a bit.

How do you maintain that self when she sees every moment of your life? She sees you in your worst moments, you're no longer mysterious to her in any sense.

Maybe you're right but I feel like you could call it something else other than mother.

This is extremely heavy handed, Freudian thinking is retardation. Masculine men must be the Captain. You never get to relax. Very true, but the rest of what you're saying is just silly. I didn't see her as a mother just because I got lazy and complacent.

You retreated back to being a "boy" and she was your "mother". Why? I was still the dominant force, she was the innocent virgin, I was the one making the calls and the moves. I was the one managing both our lives and supporting her. I don't understand what you're making these assertions from. The mistakes I made were not following it up with capital gains, and allowing things to escalate negatively. You're saying true things but they have no relevance here.

I wasn't, and part of it happened at the start when she was very innocent and shy. She cried about it a lot and wrote to herself without being angry at me. Later on she was mad too but she wasn't initiating break ups. I don't think you have experience with girls like that.

Yeah, I admitted to my own failures. Basically, never become too content and too idle. You can't throw away what made you succeed in the first place. And don't get me wrong, I'm not white knighting her, she became a million times worse than the angel she used to be, she's basically a naggy cunt most of the time. We're together still, maybe not for long. I am not sure if I can fix this disaster. However, the second even the slightest bit of cheating is at suspect, it's obviously done. Why are som…
