That sounds nice. I hope so. I don't want that shit as an outside voice of reddit.

It was just weird how they singled the husband out like that. Both of them are probably from there, just weirdly worded.

Hey guys. GF has been distant lately. She's very... different; not like normal women. She openly admits it's hard for her to express herself. And that's true, she seems very closed and personal most all the time. She gets reaaaaaally embarrassed about her own body; I haven't even seen her vagina yet. She also refuses for me to eat her, which is truly puzzling to me. And she says that every time we go to town, she feels like she did something wrong or bad and then I just feel bad for her. She's a…

Wait so... Are negs a bad thing or not? This subreddit contradicts itself so much. Edit: and how is the comment "You look like you're on a diet," a neg? That just seems like a nice remark to me...

She sees this as you not having enough confidence in your own sexual attractiveness to bring the relationship to a sexual place. What if you genuinely don't believe this? I think we all can agree: we've seen some horrendous looking people out there. The difficult part is that I don't know exactly how attractive I am, so I don't know exactly how to behave.

This right here is oh so true. I look back on my high school years in disgrace. It wasn't till I was older that I realized the coolest kids are the ones who don't care how cool they are. The rich don't need to flaunt their riches, people know; the intelligent don't need to flaunt their intelligence, people know; and the cool don't need to flaunt their coolness, people know.

People often say to just "don't give a damn," but I prefer to not think on it at all. If you specifically try to not care, you'll think too much. How would you meet a cool looking guy who you notice has a similar hobby? Oh you must be a pink Floyd fan! You play Minecraft too? It's easy and comfortable and the key thing is, you're not thinking about how to approach, you're just curious to meet someone with the same interest. Try to emulate that and maybe throw in a compliment for the hell of it!

Sorry, didn't mean it resentfully. Let me rephrase.

You didn't get a chuckle outa that? Sounded funny to me. I'm certainly no expert at this, but I feel like tastes in humor varies significantly. It may not have worked there, but may have been worth some laughs in another group. A natural selection thing, if you will.

There's this girl at my job who is, from what I can tell, incredibly attracted to me. Either that or she's just the flirtatious type, but she doesn't seem that way and she's only flirtsy with me. Anyway, she initiates kino with me, but it's odd because I don't really know what to do back. I've asked her out a couple times (just a nonchalant "hey, let's go hang out some time), but she doesn't seem to be giving me any direct responses. I've only talked to her a couple times so I don't have her num…

Under certain circumstances, asking "do you like me" won't ruin things, but it's always better to assume she does and act confidently based on that. I like these words; I'll keep them in the back of my head.

A few years ago, I knew a girl I was crazy for. I anonymously left a rose on her car one day (cuz I'm a pussy) and she was lit up the whole day and made her all giddy (she knew exactly who it was). About a week later, I upped the ante with a box of chocolates. This, however, didn't work. It took me about 6 months to realize that it was because I was only doing what was expected. The rose was genuine; that I felt she deserved. I learned a valuable lesson that day. I think this is what should be t…

What? I'm a guy? I can prove it. I meant every word I said sincerely. EDIT: Just realized what you meant.

I just started reading PUA stuff and all of these conversations sound just so impossible. Like no one would ever respond to me like that... And even if it did happen, I don't even know what I would do next. Everything I know is just bull shit Hollywood stuff. I honestly would be terrified to actually get a date; I have no idea where to start with any of this...

It's not that I'm refusing to show up, I just don't want to be associated with that crowd (at least for alcohol). I'm simply asking of places other than bars to go. Obviously that's not the only place to meet them, so I'd rather avoid it altogether. Kill two birds with one stone.

As for where to meet girls, why are coffee shops your last resort? What do you have against coffee shops? Nothing against coffee shops, just Not much of a coffee fan either I feel like if I'm going to a bar or coffee shop, I should also participate somehow, else I'll look strange. EDIT: Also, I'm not about to change my attitude on alcohol. It's kept me level headed and in school thus far and finding a girl is secondary to that right now. But just because I look down on alcoholism with disdain do…

hell bent on staying away from alcohol I wouldn't choose those words, but, yeah, it's a personal thing. I'll look into daygame, thanks!

I think it's hasty to just clump all conversation into small talk and deep convo. It really is scenario dependent. That being said, I think small talk is garbage and I hate it: so fucking fake. I'd prefer a more engaging talk, but don't bring up religion, ya know?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
