1	Doing it right A couple of dudes were saying that up there. I guess I should've worded it differently; I wasn't saying that you were. It is. I'm going to be honest. I don't think it is solely a men's issue now. 1) Women are now allowed to serve in combat arms. 2) Aren't they proposing or already have passed a bill requiring military age females register for Selective Service? 3) My mother FREAKED when I told her I signed a contract with the army. 7	Doing it right It sure is Lord_ThunderCunt! But also keep in mind that of that 10 million maybe 50% were sent to combat arms units while the other half were probably put in support type units. Infantry becomes ineffective quickly without support. Also 10 million draftees is nothing compared to the amount of Russian conscription. 7	Doing it right I'm no history major, but a quick Google search found 50 million men(18-45 years old) had registered and only 10 million were inducted into service throughout the war. They only had to serve a minimum of one year, I believe. A nationwide poll was also conducted in favor of a selective service draft.
