Growing up, I had severe headaches daily and migraines almost weekly. I wasn't allowed to bring Tylenol (what I used as a kid, ibuprofen blows that shit out of the water) nor go to the nurses office when I got headaches at school. Only after vomiting, did most teachers let me go. I got two things from this. A higher tolerance for pain and a reluctance to ask for a break or help, because I won't get any anyway.
