3 kids sounds like you pounded alot. I mean she does not enjoy sex as much. You wait until 2 of your kids are adult and one is basically an adult to say you want something more. Sounds like you just wanna bang a hole in something. I dont blame you. Just call it what it is.

Sorry bud. Get ready for an un confotable yr or 2. Should have never left the house.

Do it through a mediator. 1 lawyer who hears you both out. Ask for 10 grand to get on your feet. If you were in the house for a long time and contributed 100%. Sounds like you may have. Shes good w money including yours over a # of years. You took care of the house , kids , cars , arranged your time around her sched. No way you dont deserve something. What is up to you. Assuming your marriage was somewhat as stated above.

Never bro off w her head. Her going around behind your back is a sure sign. A woman dont want you it will never change. You working to much is not a bad thing its how the bills get paid. You could kiss her ass from here to infinity she will still pull the trigger. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

Well if you want away from her. Have the lawyer give you 1/2 the joint savings. Get the house a appraised and have her buy you out. ( Split the already paid down amount) Imho she don't really owe you much. If you cant make it on 85 k then thats on you. As long as you got a car and apt you will be fine. Unfortunately divorce is rough like that. If you decide to go to court then she can drag you into deep waters. If you do it through mediation you never have to go to court. One lawyer to mediate o…

Still married barely. Taking all my finances back has helped me a lot. I just listed the shit I wont pay for. Then I said I want bills itemized. I will only split the bills. My bank account is now seperate completely. You would be amazed how quickly they stfu when they dont have you by the financial balls.

So we did not see the 2nd lawyer to finalize the mediation. I guess I just gotta bite the bullet. Cuz as much as I would like to make it work. I dont feel comfortable w the threat always looming.

Now w the main part of mediation done we have to sit w the 2nd lawyer and sign the documents? Correct. Sorry just stunned at how quick things where going just to stall. I am still confused about the next.

Meaning I may have to get a lawyer to eventually force her hand? So she will live up to the agreement.

God Damn. Its similar to my situation. The minute my son was born I knew it all changed. Trying to work my way out w divorce being finalized. Its so hard when someone wont compromise. Unless you do exactly as told the tantrums and verbal abuse begins. I feel pretty crappy because its impossible to make this work. I feel like I am being used for labor, finances and convience. So tough to get out and hold your head high. Good luck.

Yea it is a tough spot. Seems like in the long run you will be good. There is no way to know what her therapist was suggesting. Be kind to yourself and take care.

Dunno man. I think therapists ussually try and give you the strength to do the hard things. Your wife probably wanted a divorce. Therapy just gave her the strength to do it.

Yea I knew my divorce was a guarantee. I on one hand tought it would be worth it to compromise/ sacrafice to keep the family together. She was just a selfish person. No compromise period. Only thing she could say is will your mom take the dog. See you next tuesday. BIA!

Yea, I am not nervous, I think I might let her talk then just have her leave. She will probably list a ton of demands and altematum. My plan is to just listen and tell her I won't be pressured or forced to make any decisions.

It's my therapist, lol. Already tried that shit w someone she knew and that was brutal. ie her therapist

I should have stated that nobody said we wanted the divorce. It just gets super volatile w/o a buffer. We can't talk w/o a lot of anger.

Yea. Thank you for giving me a level headed answer

1 kid but he's old enough to understand a lot more. That's kind of what was holding out for. I'm looking at between a year or two as I get my financial game in order.

Whoa, that is exactly a thing I hate. Give them personal info, and they blurt it out at the 1st drop of a hat.
