Yes, I'm aware. You still haven't answered how you think I'm defending OP and being misogynistic.

He's talking about Esther Perel and you brought up Esther Vilar, then claim I'm supporting him? Are you okay? Do you struggle with comprehension?

Yeah, I get it. I was raised with extreme sex-negativity. Recovering from all that brought an anger I've never seen in myself. It's so infuriating that these social stigmas persist when there is no logical reason for them whatsoever.

Abuse changes the brain. It makes you a different person, with different thoughts (most of which are caused by "hyper-vigilance"), feelings are often numbed which makes perception different. It's best not to judge until you can fully understand what abuse does to a person on a science level.

Sounds like you're just trying to find the balance that most who are young don't really have. People in their 20's having coping skills of apes. We spend most of that time swinging from one side to another side to another. When you get into your 30's it gets way better. Hormones are a bitch to manage at that age too.

They self-implode because of contradiction, all you have to do is point them out. Make them backdoor themselves until they can't anymore. I pull reverse uno cards using the socratic method and they'll often end in name calling and stomp away. The reality is, nobody wants their ideology anymore and they have to resort to war and genocide to get what they want. It's the ultimate tantrum because other people won't conform and fit in boxes they deem to be "acceptable". They change reality around the…

Did you ever stop to consider that maybe she's not comfortable with him because maybe he doesn't use her hole as a tool to get off, so maybe she doesn't know how to have sex in a way that shows love? I've talked to many struggling women about this, so I know it's a common theme, especially in places like DeadBedrooms. Women aren't taught to make love, we're taught to provide holes on our bodies for use. From our exit from the womb we're taught contradictory thoughts regarding sex: we should want…

You do this a lot in this sub, so maybe this isn't for you. Sure some men are absolutely like that. Many RP men claim that all men really are like that in some last ditch effort to have this way of life justified, but it's simply not true. MOST PEOPLE want to be valued for their efforts, MOST PEOPLE want love, MOST PEOPLE have very similar desires and emotions so much much that it's a scientific baseline. Dysfunctional stuff will survive no matter what, abusers will be around even if we cull the…

I understood this way more than I want to admit, but some of the things you're spot on about just aren't in the right order. The nerds and geeks have very little to do with becoming Red Pillers. It's not the hobby that's the crime, it's the mindset, and that's a similar misconception like "video games cause violence". Every walks of life get recruited into cults. They know exactly who to target, what they're weaknesses are (which is why targeted advertising even online is sooooo dangerous). Recr…

A lot of these people are the same people who think Tyler Durden was highly sought-after too. They're the odd balls that unfortunately have access to the internet where before they'd be shunned from communities or be shut-ins. They're not committed to their own growth as people and will often suffer the consequences later in life. Sucks, but you can't do much but continue to speak out about it.

There is a lot left out that are possible depending on where you're at. I was very similar to you and worked A LOT (not kidding, like 14+ hours a day) and had no time to socialize. I finally joined a meetup group for things and beliefs I enjoyed and started meeting lots of great people. If you're not a church person, then try gaming groups, book reader's, and many locations even have groups for trivia over beer. None of them really need to understand your financial situation early on. You can sa…

This plus massive amounts of generalizations combined with reductionist thinking. Comboed together and it's only used as an informational weapon against those who can't science or break down a thought into its necessary pieces to properly analyze.

Yes, I understand that, but RPers are notoriously argumentative regarding which features are which. "Monkey Branching" for instance is regarded in these pipeline communities as biological AND personality traits depending on how that fact is weaponized. They also don't consider abuse and other variables as reasons for why a woman would leave a partner for another, which only generalizes the behavior to one or the other reason and almost always never in the favor of all facts or most facts (and wo…

Right, but most don't actually care in most circumstances. Average male height is still where you're at (give or take countries with nutritional issues, etc.), so that means out of hundreds of millions of men surveyed, the averages of ya'll put together is still around 5'8"ish. I don't like guys being as short as me, but otherwise most of my guys have been 5'8" and over and that's perfectly fine with me. Height to men's self-esteem is basically the same as woman's waist size. The beauty industry…

You're not understanding the overall concept of his post. Context is important. Yes, OBVIOUSLY there are differences, but the CONTEXT of what he's talking about is regarding the general bad behavior shit that Red Pill constantly feeds as if women are the only ones who do certain things. Men do them too (bad stuff).

Back in 2014 when my guy friends started acting like duplicated robots. I was in a much milder Red Pill for women group (which was very different than it is now) and it just clicked. I ran as far as I could. Then I started studying it like a mad woman so I could detect it early.

Most adults aren't diagnosed autistic at first. ADHD seems to be the go to diagnosis currently, but if she feels they don't match her symptoms and she has money to keep getting treatment, then she might. You'd be surprised how much of us still aren't normies though. I still struggle in my 30's but I've found my tribe that adores me anyways. We tend to be at gaming groups, book clubs, etc. Try the meet up groups, comic cons, etc. That's where we all hoard up. lol

I'm absolutely not trying to invalidate your experiences, but I want to fit it in that I'm a very cute woman who fell madly in love with a man of your description. I've been with him for 2 decades. He's supported me through my own neurodivergence, ups and downs, and more. You're very right; accept it and learn to function around it. It's hard, especially at your age, but you do start to grow into it closer to 30's and beyond. You might actually find a woman who adores you if you're confident and…

Everything about this is correct from my woman's point of view. I did assume for the longest time that men were way more supportive of each other. It was a rude awakening for sure.

One of my ex-boyfriends told me this almost a decade ago after I gave him several. I was so sad for him and other guys. Since then, I've made it a habit to notice and say at least one nice thing to them, whether it be their nice suit, their kindness, etc. As women, many of us are actually taught not to (not sure if you knew that) or we might "put out the wrong intentions". I think it's a stigma like mental health. Old traditions that make no sense in our age and needs to change.

I'd prefer to watch content that teaches myself and others how to combat these biases, how to have better mental health, how to think and be stronger, how to have good financial habits, etc. Any sensationalized stuff isn't normally good for good development.

I don't hear many feminists dodge this question, especially here. It's your freedom to express that with women who are also supportive of that belief. They exist. It's not okay to force women into that life if they choose not to be, but I guess that requires a basic level of respect for the women you're with, of which you do not seem capable. 🤷‍♀️ That must be rough to regress to an baboon-like mentality when you don't get your way. I unfortunately cannot speak monkey.

Yeah, I think it's because some have strong morals, actually want to be a high-quality and rock solid man, want to be attached to a woman like she is to him. Some want that deep, unbreakable bond, the power couple vibe, master that flow, be like water with each other, etc. You can't get that with casual, unattached sex. You can't get that with abuse and manipulation. It takes time, practice, working out the kinks, communion, and INTENTION. It's hard work, but worth it. That shit is sexy AF! Good…

To add to this glorious comment, try to remember that a lot of what you should be learning is freely on the internet, you just have to look at the right things with intention. All these cult recruiters online aren't going to help you the way you need. You have to learn how to reflect on your thoughts with mindfulness, you have to learn how to heal any trauma you might have with therapy or therapeutic resources if you can't afford therapy, you have to participate in your own growth. These things …

JLo's not exactly the paragon of good life decisions with relationships, so she has no business guiding people in that topic. I wouldn't listen to her. What helped me is studying mindfulness. You won't master it right away, but it can give you great insight into your thoughts, why you're stuck, etc. Use that time you'd normally absorb low-quality videos and flip it to things that will benefit you for the rest of your life.

It's not though. Many mix love lovebombing and other seductive methods in it. It breaks good women as well. It's not like everyone goes into a relationship with these guys immediately smelling the deception. Some are very good at what they do. F&F and others, probably not, but some absolutely are dripping in sexy. This I know from experience. My RP guys never started like shit heads.

Just because one is good at conning others doesn't mean the person being conned is somehow broken. Some manipulators are very good at what they do, they lie well, they play the script well, etc. Not everyone who falls for it is even expecting someone to be that conniving. Red Pillers ruin trust which infected the dating market, now we got men complaining women are frigid instead of saying, "Huh, I wonder if it was my actions".

100% agree. After having these on-again-off-again types, really-passionate-but-too-afraid-to-admit-we-love-each-other types, and other unnatural dynamics, I'm likewise over them. I love having that person to cook for, watch movies with, have each other's backs, etc.

I imagine it's quite like the progressive and brave Israeli and Palestinian teens and young adults that attempted to start a movement about not fighting "their parent's war", started to become friends, and hung out in public. Perpetually starting hate wars is very clearly not going away sadly. Too many people profit off hate.

Back in my day, we’d smoke a joint at the skate park, make racially charges jokes (it was the 90s, still not okay though), stay out a bit too late, pretend we’re in the the show Jackass and do dumb pranks, share “inappropriate” video tapes and magazines, listen to angsty music. Damn. I just got mad nostalgia. I still almost exclusively wear Etnies too. Lyrics of music haven't really changed based on these life stages either [pulls out my Walkman and plays "Coming Clean" by Green Day]. 🤘🏽😝🤘🏽

Right, but what they bring up is evolutionary and do they say to abuse women with it? No. Do they say destroy women's mental health with it? No. Do they say this is a great way to punish her for not acquiescing to my sexual needs? No. It's not the information that's the problem, it's that's being done with that information. It's being used to justify deplorable behavior, to sexually abuse women, to ruin their lives, etc. I'm sure Huberman would be disgusted. Or at least I would hope. Regardless,…

This is exactly the point I'm making. Unless you're a trained professional, we're never quite entirely sure the information we give to others is actually good information. It's the same as Red Pill and the same as here. That's the point. None of these men giving the advice they do are evolutionary psychologists. They read a book or two, post hoc'ed themselves into believing that they're good enough to tell other men how to do these things to women with zero regard to how it can utterly destroy t…

Are you aware that women are often punished for having periods and doing "down there" self-care? Periods and sexual pleasure are still very much taboo around the world. It may not mean much to you, but it's a great empowering thing to know this concept exists. It's a low-key teaching moment for women, but men wouldn't understand it as much. "It's a girl thing." But it's also "girl things" that men should understand before teaching other men harmful information without even truly knowing just the…

This kind of stuff doesn't work for women who have higher andeogens (like with PCOS and other issues). Muscle gain is absurd, so cardio is often recommended instead, but even that can cause issues (like heart issues with trying to fix period anemia). There are some issues that a lot of women struggle with because of hormones in food and whatnot that just don't have good remedies. You have to compromise and it means you can't have it all sometimes.

This is so true. I was an 8/10 when I dated Red Pillers, which for my frame, is actually very pleasantly curvy, but I still was "too fat". I struggled with weight gain because of certain medications for a brain disorder (basically seizure-like stuff that would cause behavioral issues) and would gain weight on them even with less than 1,000 calories. So many tears were shed over it. I finally gave up and chose my medicine over love and am still delightfully curvy at 12/14 and my current guy adore…

A narrowly understood set of human behaviors that follow post hoc ergo propter hoc black and white thinking to generalize and make people think that X behavior = Y reasoning to specifically place blame on women for everything she does. When alternatives and variables are discussed, it's automatically "Blue Pill" feminist garbage rather than one of many possible reasons why a particular person behaves in a certain way. If the very same mentality it's thrown back, such as "therefore that means all…

Unfortunately, a lot of people who come across red pill content cannot make that discretion. "AWALT". Why wouldn't they? You speak as if you've made that distinction, but the generalized way you spoke about it does not indicate that. Hypergamy is spoken about as if it's this HUGE thing and one of the only features of women, but it's presented in a covertly deceptive way. Intentionally. That is not "Red Pill". This is a very flawed version that's being taught to vulnerable men who are now looking…

Yes, basically this is all this new "Red Pill" embodies. Traditionally it was about learning these uncomfortable truths about ourselves and how to escape biased thoughts so we can become enlightened and better people. Now it's all woman hate, woman bad, woman evil except for her holes. It's sad. It's presented in a way that prevents that "Red Pill" enlightenment.
/r/ExRedPill14/08/23 10:00 AM

Regarding your "hypergamy" comment above: What's your "Red Pill" opinion on post hoc ergo propter hoc thinking combined with the fundamental attribution error? Wouldn't one who is truly "Red Pill" recognizing this within himself and then use that to understand his own biases? "Hypergamy" is technically one of many possible behaviors of women and we can prove that this does not happen 100% of times and therefore all you're saying is, "Look! A woman did a thing! Look at it! But don't look at that …
