People are allowed to change. In some cases, no, no they are not. Unless they can set all the damage that they have done right, then they are not allowed to say that they've changed. It's not as if they just made an honest oopsie, they destroyed real lives. They cannot go from being cruel fucks that actually destroyed the lives of fathers and kids to "oops, my bad" and expect to be forgiven, because there is no way to ever right the damage that they did to people.

To be fair, that would be contempt of court, and is illegal. Still, that’s messed up I'd find that "court" to be pretty contemptible too after they enabled the child's death to happen, over warnings from the father. I've heard that some states allow you to assault these protestors if they're blocking traffic. Guess it's not really assault at that point as much as it is kidnapping. While I'm not generally interested in assaulting anyone in particular (special cases excepted), I would very much like to read of any state precedents on forcing my way past protest lines using the minimum necessary force, and not being criminally liable.

Basically they say any single person restroom must be marked for "all gender" use, so a bathroom that has a toilet and urinal is automatically "single user" and becomes all gender by law. I fail to see how a bathroom that has both a toilet and a urinal is a single person restroom. I mean, it's technically possible for a man to piss in the urinal from the toilet, but outside of that technicality, having both a toilet and a urinal denotes that bathroom as being usable by 2 males at the same time.

See, a "life" sentence doesn't depend on what you perceive as a life. A "Life" sentence is defined legally to mean "until you die and stay dead". I don't care about the quality of any remaining time she might have. But in prison there is no living. Only waiting. Then she shouldn't have committed the crime that risked the prison time. Spend some time each night (or week) applying for better jobs? Move in with a roommate to reduce expenses? Move to a city with a cheaper cost of living?
