The men here are victims of their own ineptitude and undesirability. Honestly, it must be hard to be an unsuccessful man that is missing out on life and getting no play. Poor things rotting angrily in their rooms.

Right, just as some women have been mislead and used for sex. Tis the point.

No it’s uniform across the board for women of all ages that tall men are better and more desirable than average-short men

Absolutely! Looking at fat or unfit men hurts my eyes, more of you should definitely get in shape.

Ok then why aren’t you or any other men doing anything about it? Why bitch and cry on reddit about women when you could be donating, creating new dialogues specifically about male rape victims, starting or reaching out to rape charities & foundations etc? You haven’t done anything because you and other men don’t actually care. The reason why female rape victims get more attention is because the overwhelming majority of rape victims are women, the overwhelming majority of rapists are males, and w…

Are both not true? Women do love tall men and many of the men here are autistic.

Why is the narrative that women are “looking for free meals” when men treat them out to dinner but don’t get laid?

You think an ugly incel would become more desirable if he could approach and display narcissism and arrogance? I’m sorry but I have to laugh because nope that is so incorrect.

I’m sorry but no and you’re delusional. Literally look at yourself and what you are doing RIGHT NOW. If you care about male rape victims so much how come you are only bringing it up to argue about women and feminists and not because you actually care? You don’t care about male rape victims and I bet you never bring it up unless its to argue or derail. What I said earlier hit too close to home for you and now you’re scrambling using mental gymnastics to bitch about women and feminists instead of …

Nah, men derail these dialogues because talking about female rape victims (where the perpetrators are obviously almost always men) makes men angry and uncomfortable. If men TRULY cared about male rape victims they would actively start foundations, groups, charities, and their OWN conversations…but they don’t because men don’t actually give a shit about male rape victims.

No, but the men with these negative traits tend to be physically attractive so their traits are overlooked or purposefully misjudged. An ugly incel isn’t going to change his sex life by now acting narcissistic and arrogant. It’s really no different than when men overlook a girl’s demanding and bitchy attitude so long as she’s hot enough People are willing to overlook and may sometimes find these negative traits attractive so long as the individual is also attractive

It is not appropriate at all. Just like how it would be inappropriate to interrupt an ongoing conversation about male circumcision by saying “Well actually FGM is worse and men have it easier in terms of circumcision!” Interesting to me that the only times men seem to care about male circumcision or male rape victims is when they want to derail ongoing dialogues about FGM or female rape victims.

The assertion that 75% of adult men are not having sex does not seem like an accurate statistic. I also don’t believe that women as a group are truly going out of their way to be mean and cruel to ‘beta males’. I’m sure it happens, or at least happens in a general sense (ex: girl posts online that she finds bald men ugly) but I am genuinely not seeing women taking the time out of their day to be mean to men. I think what is actually happening is that men are upset and bitter about being ignored …

Perhaps edit: I just saw your edit. I made an observation, you specifically asked me a question, and I answered what minor qualms I have with this sub. I never rallied or complained that this sub needs major changes and fixing.

To have varied discussions and viewpoints instead of the predictable typical ones we see daily. Imagine if this sub was dominated by Chads who routinely shared their experiences of how much sex they have, how easy getting into relationships are, and what fun they are having with so many options. Surely you too would get tired of seeing a single dominant narrative all the time in a dating sub.

Quite unfortunate, lonely single men should have their own space

Just to be clear, do you believe men as a class have never oppressed women as a class?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/23 09:14 PM

This is by far the most unfortunate thing about this sub. The main narrative here is driven by lonely and unsuccessful men who are hellbent on repeating their talking points over and over again.

Who said anything about single people not being able to post? I am making an observation that many of the men here have little to no dating experience yet seem to speak as if they have great authority over the topic.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/23 08:38 PM

Is it? Most people in other relationship subs are in relationships themselves. Most of the people here—especially the men here— are single with very limited dating experience whatsoever

I agree that oppression comes in many different forms, but it is very disingenuous to claim that sex based oppression between males and women is “the same”. It has never been or is even remotely similar.

For a dating debate sub, there sure are a lot of people here who have little to no dating experience

In history? Women are still considered second class citizens in many countries in the modern world. Men (as a class) have never been oppressed by women (as a class), but men have absolutely and continue to oppress women.

Why are you avoiding the argument? You say that misogyny is a response to misandry. I am asking you when has misandry ever been as oppressing, violent, and abusive as misogyny? You have it backwards, misandry is a response to misogyny.

A lot of men use emotional and juvenile logic like a child, just let him be. Nothing we can do but watch and laugh at men like that.

Where was the part where women oppressed men and made it that they were property and could not vote? Seems you have it backwards
