1	Confidence issues First of all, thanks for all the encouragement, I have definitely found the perspective I need to tackle this issue. I also realized that most of the dating starts out as being "really close friends" (at least in the church where I go to). I think it's more of a hedge against anything that might go wrong as you mentioned, like worst case scenario "we were just friends and we can just say that we found out we weren't really a good match for each other". 2	Confidence issues One thing I noticed at church is that everyone is watching, as soon as you go out for coffee pretty much everybody is talking about the new couple. This kind of environment is very daunting to me and it makes it harder for people with little to no experience to initiate and make the first move. It's basically a hit and miss just that at church you can't afford to miss when the wrong move could cost you your social life at church especially if it's a church you really like going to. 1	Confidence issues honestly, I think it's both. The insecurities part can be cured by reading scripture and finding confidence in the Lord, I'm working on that. 1	Confidence issues I didn’t mean it that way, rather it’s infuriating that I failed and that the reason is unclear. I talked a little bit about my past and I’m trying to figure things out. I’m on here to get perspective and hopefully figure out what I need to do to fix my issue. Obviously if I thought I was better than everyone else I wouldn’t be here asking these questions. 3	Confidence issues What do you mean? Do you say "hey", smile and she completely ignores you? No, it's more to do with her body language. I don't engage unless I feel welcomed to do so. How do you talk to women? The first and most important thing is understanding and accepting that women are different to men. Women are feminine, men are masculine. 1	Confidence issues Your confidence issues are understandable but what women think of you doesn't matter, what matters is that you were bought for a great price. Thank you for reminding me of this. And regarding women? Your social skills probably suck. If you're a bad salesman you'll have problem to sell even a great product. So work on that, speak to people without caring what they think of you, maybe join toastmasters, some christian group (maybe bible study) would be good too. I guess they do. 1	Confidence issues Also, be careful with accutane. There's a plethora of bad side effects even if it seems like it helps. Might want to look into something else. It's basically a mega-dose of vitamin A (isoretinin - retinin is retinol which is vitamin A) and fat soluble vitamins overdosed are potentially dangerous. I was only on 20mg daily compared to the 80mg the doctor would have had me on.
