I like how when talking about men having standards you said "most'", but when talking about women you said "some". How about you get real and say "most" as well when talking about women's standards.

Things work out for vast majority of families. Being born with a disability is rare. And even more rare are those severe disabilities. My brother is special needs kid and is "slow" and he didn't need any extra help or caregiving. Not having children because of that small chance of disability is stupid. If you're healthy and your partner is healthy you are most likely going to have healthy kids. And If you against the odds have a Child with severe disability and you feel like it's a burden you ca…

Raising a kid takes 18 years and when they become teenagers they'll be more independet. Do what's right for you, but All the things you listed can be done with kids as well. My parents did it with me and my brother.
