Can’t speak for all women but I think my father’s irresponsibility and my stepdad’s childishness forced me to step up at an early age in my family. Have been a good, mature, responsible daughter since I was 8, whether it be school paperwork, caring for my younger brother, or making sure my mom didn’t fall asleep on long road trips by talking to her the entire time.
