9	Start your own business. Don’t aim to work for someone. I don’t completely agree with this. Getting an education and 6 figure paying job gives you security. I work 3 12 hour shifts a week and will make 100K this year, plus 4 weeks paid vacation, benefits, sick time etc. I’m extremely happy with my career path. Starting a business can be a crap shoot. 2	I've never made a thread here before... but the "avoid violent confrontation at all costs" answers in this r/askmen thread are just too fucking pathetic to go unnoticed. I'm not familiar with such threads but usually I do try to avoid violent confrontations. Mainly for legal purposes. If I get arrested my future job prospects will be greatly hindered. If its self defense than I will defend myself. If I can sense that a confrontation might happen, I will raise my voice and try to diffuse the situation.
