Saved. You just figured out more about my marriage and the individuals that make up the marriage, than the marriage counselor ever did in 3 months (yea, I stopped going to that guy for obvious reasons) of talking to us.

"So if you want to experience someone else initiating why don’t you just go find your gay Chad and starfish on your back while he takes you to pound town..." That's a gold statement right there for all dudes still waiting on their princess to be an aggressive and initiating type chick.

Got it. If she's an addict and you choose to stay, please consider what you're prepared to do if she starts drinking more, and at work, etc.. The guilt/shame of her little secret may push her more in that direction. Now ask yourself why you need the validation of the waitress? Yea, it feels good, esp. if she's hotter than what you have at home. But in the end, it's still female validation and it keeps us in the cycle of needing and wanting it. I use to fear my wife getting when another guy that …

I was going to touch on the drinking wife, and I see it came up here. I had some of the same issues you're describing here now and I do think the two are related, as you still want validation from a fat drunk chick because she's your wife (yes, oneitus), but at the same time you can't have all of your queen because she's banging the bottle as well. Definitely check your covert contracts. You use the term "high functioning" but is she? Deep down, are you still desiring her attention even if she s…

Deloading isn’t really a waste of time if it’s planned following a period of intense training and is necessary or injures keep occurring. Strains can be trained around if not severe but rehab/mobility work should still be done during this time. If you are experiencing this many soft tissue injuries, eventually, your body will stop you with a more severe injury and you’ll get a “forced deload”. Athletes deload, as a strength coach will periodize a routine around their sport. You may need to choos…

Might I also add...this could cause some serious dread if she knows you have the money, but not know what’s going on and IF you survive the shit tests, etc., maintain frame and continue improving.

I'm new to all this but I'd tell any guy...habits normally don't change and marriage can be longer than a mortgage. So how long does she have to stay thin to make you happy? If she's not into a healthy/fitness lifestyle now, it may never happen. Expect yoyo dieting, resolutions, etc. to make you happy, but she has to want it...you gotta make her want it for 10-20-30 years...

Needed post. I have a para-menopausal wife with ADHD, so emotions ran our house over the last year, but it brought me here so that's the good part!

Timely post. I'm still learning and new to RP behavior and just last night, my wife almost got an A or B response out of me that would have totally blown the night. However, I choose C, got what I wanted and more importantly, woke up this morning feeling FAR better than I would have if I would've taken the other options...and sounds like you did as well.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
