It's not just that but also being educated, having a job, ect... hence why you have to tend to your garden. That part has to be earned. You can't step outside with it every time unless you took the time to acquire those. I think of tending to your garden as taking the time to grow self confidence, independence, to go to college, to get a job, to stay healthy as best as you possibly can ect...

As a black woman, I would hate for a guy that I'm interested in to think I only want him because I'm desperate.Personally I think you should give yourself some credit. Maybe you are funny and being educated and tall is a plus.
