Man you guys in this forum are dumb as fuck if you think this is a worthwhile post. How about dont say a word and get a lawyer, that is the only advice you need; not listen to some twat on the inets. This is the last straw, I am unsubscribing from this subreddit. It is filled with nothing but the biggest bunch of dumbasses on the planet.

Good luck man, mensrights is a joke. It is a juvenile boys club where the people here have nothing better to do other than nit pick every single little discriminatory claim that come towards them, no matter how small. It isn't about moving forward with practical agendas. It makes us look like a bunch of morons. I 100% agree with you, yet look at all the flak you are recieving. It is almost as bad as the athiest sub where people sit around and make fun of religious people. Why am I still subscrib…

This is fucking stupid. Abortion after childbirth? After childbirth it's not an abortion. In the video it says "How long after pregnancy abortion should be allowed. A month? A year?" Whoever wrote this must have an IQ of 90 or less and probably should be aborted right now. A pregnancy does not last a year. Why is this in MensRights? Some retard on some bogus news station called "sun" says one thing (most likely misconstruing the fa.... You know what. Why am I even talking...

I often read on the inet about guys doing what you are currently doing, but arrive at no justice. I am genuinly curious if anything was done. I have been in a custody battle once already. My baby momma is not a psycho cunt though, she wouldnt do that to me. Though she has tried my patience.

Well, I will concede that things should not be black & white... It should be contextual - but how would you even enforce that? In the case that you present, I would never condone that this man should pay child support. It equates to sperm donation. She was clearly fraudulent in EVERY way imaginable - however, proving that would be extremely difficult. So, I am not really talking about a victim of fraud at all. You are taking it WAY out of context. I am not talking about rape, I am not talking ab…

I agree, that's the whole premise behind the guy getting down on one knee. He is kneeling before the mercy of this woman. If the marriage ends, she (and the entire legal system) benefits! Kiss your sorry life goodbye!

I get this more and more now-a-days. As I age, if I'm with a girl, apparently I OWE it to her to commit to her... and if I don't? Apparently I'm an ASSHOLE. This seems to be the trend in society. As though the girl is giving something to you as PAYMENT (companionship ,sex and her time) and in return the man is expected to kneel down to her and marry her (at which point the payment of sex stops). The longer I'm with a girl without marrying, the more of an ASSHOLE I am.

What if you could HAVE the kids, minus the wife. Meaning you could go out and meet new people and still have AMAZING sex. For me, I want kids, but I don't really want the wife. I don't wanna sleep in the same bed together - farting on each other and all the rest. I want to expand my mind by meeting different people and talking about different things, rather than hearing the same boring story from a girl I've been with for 40 years. What do you think of my ideal?

No that is not true at all. It isn't about emotion at all. Sure we can both get emotional when explaining our points but in the end I would be no more evolved than a monkey if I clung to my beliefs despite hearing a more rational and logical "path". I would first like to preface by saying a that I am for absolute equality ... I to am for gender equality (this is the reason why I'm part of this sub-reddit). The fact that you say ABSOLUTE equality is a red flag for me. Any time I'm part of any group and someone says "absolute" it indicates to me that they are unwilling to find comprimise and usually leads to an extremist point of view. These people give the group a bad name IMO; I'm not saying that's definitely the case here, but let's contin…

"It's quite rational to flee when in danger." Rational? It's rational to run when the going gets tuff? It's the definition of a coward. "Er, people really don't know." This argument isn't about RETROACTIVE child support. It's not about men losing their jobs and still having to pay child support and being thrown in jail. It's about a MAN forfiting their responsibility in paying child support altogether. I will not argue with the rigorous blind laws that dictate a man to pay child support even if …

We are talking in the context of MEN not WOMEN. Ironic that you tell me to switch every statement with WOMEN and think that this would change the situation. If you want to speak of equality then it should not. Because it doesn't. The law is already egalitarian. The men here think it is ALWAYS the man that pays child support. The law states that it is the one who has CUSTODY that receives child support, it is not gender specific. So the people in this sub-redit are wrong in that they do not under…
/r/MensRights02/11/12 11:24 PM

It IS egalitarian because in cases where the man gets the child the WOMAN has to pay child support. You guys have it wrapped in your mind that it is the MAN that pays child support, but that's not what the law states.

You extremists are morons. You want to be EXACTLY the same as a woman despite our INHERENT differences in anatomy? Women have an inherent responsibility. Bullshit. Your right is to be a MAN and pay for your MESS UP! You are cowards, putting your money before that of a child. The scum of the earth. This isn't mens rights at all, what you are talking about is BOYS rights. You want to run from your responsibility like a teenaged boy. Would you lend your car to a woman you don't know? This isn't coward's rights, it's MEN'S rights. A MAN understands the risks involved in having sex. A MAN would wait to understand a womans view on having kids, abortions, birth control, etc. before sticking his cock in her. A BOY wants to undo what he's done, despite knowing that his actions could have led to this situation in the first place. A COWARD wants to run away from the situation, he got what he wanted, but since it didn't turn out his way, he exits. A COWARD puts his wallet before that…

Yes, I am seeing it's a very unpopular view point. It makes me wonder if I want to be a part of this sub-Reddit at all. So far it feels like a Mens Rights extremists. Like they want EXACTLY the same rights as woman despite our inherent differences (such as ability to bear children) - which is also an inherent responsibility. Keep your dick to yourself indeed. Seems like simple logic to me -.-

The fact that we are having this debate is disgraceful. Men who think they shouldn't have to pay child support are not men. They are boys; they are cowards. They want to tuck tail and run when things don't go their way? They know the risks of sex. If you don't love the girl, if you don't know what she would do with the baby BEFORE you stick your dick in her. Then DON'T do it! Not paying your child support? You're a dead beat. Should society pick up the slack so you can go around having your one …

Did the woman rape the man? Did she force him to have sex with her? You know the risks. You know the laws. You know EVERYTHING that could happen before you stick your dick in a woman. You impregnate a girl, you pay the piper! You want to positives of sex but then when things don't go your way you want to tuck tail and hide? That's not a man, that's a coward. You people give men's rights a bad name.

Agreed, and if the father wasn't meant to pay then the TAX payers would have to pay. I for one don't want to pay for some douche bags illegitimate children. Don't want kids? Don't fuck someone until you know whether they would have an abortion or not. Wear a condom, make sure she is on birth control. Simple solution to a simple debate.

Yes the man should pay, WHY? Because OTHERWISE, the government pays - which means WE ALL PAY. Why the hell should I pay child support of other peoples DUMB decisions to sleep around and not use a condom? To be fair, I pay child support. I was dumb, I didn't use a condom. I knocked her up and we never stayed together. I ENJOY paying child support. It's like paying a nanny to raise my child (except much cheaper). I guess I should have clarified. Clear and distinct threats will be considered, but acuity has to be used. Otherwise the judge will get frustrated and tell you he is disinterested in the drama. In particular I meant THIS text is not in the lines of something the judge will consider. It's ambiguous etc. In almost ALL cases the girl uses the baby as a weapon at some point or other. It's expected. The judge has heard it a million times. It's basically routine. In the over all scheme of things I mea…

Well it was a good argument. It's clear neither of us will concede to the other; I'm sure we will both continue to find faults in each others logic - partially contributed to misunderstandings and rigorous ingrained views. Nothing much left to accomplish here but at least we still both have the right to decide with our children. All the best.

No certainly not dissonant and the furthest thing from Dogmatic as possible. Anecdotal evidence is always a very reliable statistic isn't it (you, your brother and your friends)? You can't compare the removal of a piece of skin on the penis to the removal of a breast. Dunno if you're being factitious if trolling. The notion is ridiculous. Anyways, I've argued with enough people on the topic. Both sides end up into a condescending battle. In the end nothing is accomplished.

Bactria collection causing infections. Well, let us simplify our argument. Let's both agree that what was done in the past was inhumane. Cutting off foreskin with a stone knife is clear to all that it is inhumane. Dentistry only 50 years ago was pretty brutal too. Let's not talk about the past. If you want to convince me of the violence then yes okay, I concede it was (in the past), but we're talking about modern circumcision. 1) My reasoning is that EVEN if there was ZERO medical benefit, religious people would STILL conduct the pro…

I guess by that regard, open heart surgery is violent as well? The cracking of the ribs, the cutting of the flesh? Eye surgery? Slicing the eye open pulling out the lens? No one will take your "circumcision is violent" argument seriously. Anesthetic is used but does not eliminate the pain? Curious how would you know this? Have you talked to a newborn baby who told you this? Or perhaps an adult who somehow recalls it? I don't advocate ear piercing at all, cranial shaping is ridiculous to bring in…
/r/MensRights01/11/12 06:59 PM
-7

Well I can argue it because it is quite the stretch to call this a violent procedure. By definition of 'violence' it has no place within it's boundaries. Is piercing ones ear violence? Parents get their kids ears pierced. Vaccinations INDEED can cause much more severe complications than a circumcision. The statistics are found here: http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/stats-surv/default.htm So it most certainly holds. It is relevant because circumcision (in the end) happened (by coincidence) to have med…

That's a fair argument but I do have problems with it. Dying from circumcision. I think calling this a solid argument can't be taken seriously; the chances of dying from such a procedure is 0.000002%. From what I understand only 1.5% of circumcisions lead to minor complications (such as certain parts not being cleanly cut leading to skin tags), while if done later in life it rises to 6.5%. Dying from such a procedure is pretty much negligible. There is a much higher rate of complications due to …
/r/MensRights01/11/12 05:27 PM
-4

It's kind of a toss up. I know MANY people who have had medical issues due to a uncircumcised penis. Going through the procedure at a later date is EXTREMELY unpleasant. Some of them resent their parents for not doing it. I don't know if I'd call it gender mutilation (may be extreme), as that usually involves the complete removal of the sex organ, though I guess that is an area of debate still since it's not illegal.
/r/MensRights01/11/12 04:08 PM
-7

That's fair, cosmetic reasons - sure, but there is a lot of good science supporting that circumcision leads to less complications down the road. Just do a Google search to see the long list. There is no good reason NOT to do it frankly. Unless the argument is that the child can't consent, but that is a philosophical debate since there are many things a child is forced to do without consent.

Guys, guys... Been through the court system with this exact crap. The judge doesn't give a RATS ass what she or he said. Every SINGLE case that goes through the family court system includes the man and wife saying horrible things to each other. He's heard it all. If he shows these texts it will merely anger the judge. All the judge cares about is the best interests of the child. The drama is completely irrelevant.
