But she made it very clear (as did I) that we're only friends. I shared this story in another subreddit (askseddit) and I think she made a move, I declined, and now she's trying to reframe it as she's rejecting me to save face

I disagree, I have cool female friends

Good advice but Idk, I've been pretty clear that I'm not interested. She's the one who initiated wanting to only be friends and I agreed. While I was over her place she, which surprised me, looked in my eye and said "I need something warmer" and I was like "Well, get a bigger blanket then". Everytime we went out we casually talked about the opposite sex either she'd start it or I would but it was always super clear that we both weren't interested like that.

Let's reframe this; I'm not trying to smash, I actually enjoy her platonic company. Hooking up for me as a 22yom is pretty easy. I was just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this when befriending women. Again, she's buying stuff for me and driving me around, not the other way around. My frame is just "Woah I'm just looking for a good friend, why are you angry?" It's 100% normal to befriend women.

It's good that you don't want to be a creep, that shows you aren't a complete asshole. As for escalating, the comments here are pretty spot on. Have fun too, make her laugh.

Yes, I would. If you're nervous it can make the girl nervous. Of course we can laugh and admit it but that's a whole 'nother thing. Game is called game for a reason and if you don't want to get advice to learn it than fine by me. Keep approaching ladies however you are and don't expect advice. I'm called attractive all the time and I did scare girls away with my social anxiety/ungrounded voice. There are a lot of things that females are attracted to that we don't find relatively attractive. I'm …

False. You can be good looking and still be creepy. Bad body posture, the way you walk, the way you talk, women almost feel what we feel sometimes. There are guys who instantly go "nice ass omg" or "Yeah lets go on a dinner" and you barely know her. A woman is afraid if you're a weird needy serial killer or not. That's the bottom line

Expect that "who TF is this weirdo" stare for the first minute. That look alone throws many guys off their game. They're approached daily by creeps and that is a defensive and instinctive thing to do. This was an initial problem for me UNTIL I figured out what it was for. They'll find out you're not a creep (hopefully) and things can head in a better direction.

That's possible because sexual energy can be blocked off by the mind. That's ONE of the reasons why sex is amazing, when you're having amazing sex your mind literally is nonexistent. I'll tell you what though, I think in your mind you see these women as above you. Your subconscious doesn't think you deserve them and it shows physically. Just know that you deserve them and meditate on that, let go of anticipation and be in the moment. Also, do you watch a lot of porn? quit the porn.... Exercise, …

You got to practice abundance And surprisingly there's a lot of adult males out there that are socially awkward. That's why date coaches are popular. Getting better at social skills never stops, even for the advanced.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
