Guys are desperate tbh. Women have free pick of the litter because men want to strut and compete with each other. It's exactly why they show off and call dibs on potential dates if they're out with friends. The dating app view of the world is a narrow one.

Somewhat agree. Those choices could have been as a result of behaviour expressed to him. Insecurity is hard, and partners aren't therapists.

You don't need anyone else's approval. It's called Self-assurance If you live by others compliments, then you will die by their criticisms.

There are generalisations here, in this post and is written, I feel, from quite a specific POV rather than a general one. There are power plays and imbalances between sexes everyday, and it would really surprise you to see who's truly in charge of a lot of situations. If men have a one-track mind and only care about getting one thing then women do too: people want to get laid, not just one gender overall. Women have preferences for rough sex scenes in porn, and if that's something that makes the…

I think a main concern would be profiling and "tarring all with the same brush". That is to say, nobody likes being labelled, gender notwithstanding, and people get defensive when they feel they're being wrongfully put into a category. Another point to consider is a person's inability to, or the refusal to understand and exercise compassion for those who have been victims of assault. In these situations, it is more often than not frustration at being unable to overcome someone's personal boundar…

:They can choose to watch sex on a screen and that makes me free to fuck whomever I choose physically while they do not get the same option.' That luggage is getting left on the carousel

Because it's unnecessary and combative. It tells me you have a need to project and protect your ego.

Weighing in here, yes I have absolutely observed this. As men are pushed and encouraged more to be emotionally open and develop their emotional intelligence, this is, I feel a logical next step. Women are encouraged to be supportive of men when they open up, but are not told how or what to do when it happens, so inevitably they are so poorly equipped when he does that it causes oftentimes new damage and runs the risk of him never opening up again as a result. It's a beautiful thing personally, t…

Hm. Aside from the blatant misandry? It's sexist. It champions division between genders, it wrongfully encourages women to be aggressive and needlessly competitive under the guise of 'empowerment', it's toxic and dangerous. We have heard all too often about men's only groups that are supposedly 'dangerous spaces' for innocent men that look for confidence building via camaraderie, but end up promoting toxic masculinity and associated behaviours. A simplified argument might be this; //•- if you we…

This is broad speculation, and there are possible reasons as to why someone would do this-- individuals that do not want to or refuse to accept personal accountability will find ways in which to express their unhealthy sentiments using words and vernacular that will guarantee they will be heard and given sympathy for. Make no mistake, those that do not want to be in control of their lives control others around them to garner negative attention individuals who have been abused in former relations…
