I'm sorry for you, and I never meant to belittle something as disgusting as rape, much less say it didn't happen because it wasn't sufficiently traumatic. My whole point, and I'm sorry if you think I'm being insensitive, can't be helped, is that beating someone senselessly (which happens quite often in rape cases) is a far greater offense than holding someone down and forcing sexual intercourse, and the law should reflect that.
