It's hilarious he exposed himself in the edit like this right after making a whole post that paints her as the gold digger. If a woman openly admitted she only stayed with a guy because he makes 140k a year, Reddit would tear her to shreds.

Also, don't expect anything expensive in your relationship. Your man doesn't owe you a ring any more expensive than $30. But also, buy him a PS5! Men deserve to be spoiled too!!

The funny thing is, I've known more "gold diggers" that have been men vs women. Some of the dudes I've met have bragged about living with a woman rent free and being able to drive her car around, whereas I've known women who feel guilty about their boyfriends buying them a meal. Our culture has made women feel guilty for literally expecting the bare minimum.

Add to that, his therapist seems to have taken his wife's side, despite not even meeting her. It seems like the OP is leaving out a lot of information to paint himself as an innocent victim who's been taken advantage of.

I've never punched a hole in the wall, but I'd imagine if I ever did, I'd be so ashamed with myself that I'd be trying to fix the wall ASAP. How are they not embarassed by this behavior?

I'm so sorry you had to experience that. I'm a grown woman who would be scared to witness a man punching holes in walls, I can't imagine how terrifying that would be for a child.

Imagine being this petty to someone old enough to be your child because they don't use their college degree and use cheesy captions on their instagram post? I'm truly hoping this is fake.

So he's sad that she's dying of cancer, because of his fond memories on how her kegal exercises benefitted him. Not because she's a human being who doesn't deserve an awful illness, but because of the good experiences she gave him. How can you talk about another human being like this and not feel like a horrible person?

I get so many crazy looks when I say that I don't fart around others and wouldn't want them to do it around me. Everyone seems to think that it's the biggest sign of "comfort" in a relationship, but why do I need to pass gas in the presence of someone to show how much I care?

Not OP but I've actually been using Stridex Pads on my legs after exfoliating and shaving and have noticed a difference in the appearance of the "strawberry dots". It's a cheaper option, but its worked great for me so far.

On the other end of that, I unfortunately seem to end up dating men who are against abortion. It's been a red flag for me since I don't want children anytime soon and am open about the fact that I'd get an abortion if I found myself pregnant. I didn't find out their views on abortion until months into the relationship, so I now feel like views on abortion should be brought up in the beginning.

I don't want to tear down other women, or kick them when they're down. However, my sympathy does start to waver when I see them actively advising other women to stay in bad situations, or when they put having a man over the wellbeing of their children.

I highly doubt this is the first openly racist thing her husband has done. No loving, amazing person randomly wakes up one day and decides to join a hate group.

The fear of single motherhood is so instilled in women that many stay in unhappy marriages because of having children. There was actually a study that showed that single moms on average spend less time on housework than married mothers, and also have more leisure time. Its almost like being married gives women another responsibility (caring for a husband) ontop of already being the sole caretaker of the children.

It's crazy because in my family and friend group, I've never seen anyone tell a crying/upset man to get over it or toughen up. Even at work, when a man is dealing with an emotional issue, everyone has been compassionate and wants to lend a listening ear. When a man is angry and yelling, everyone gets quiet and doesn't challenge it since it's assumed he has a good reason to be upset. An angry women is met with accusations of being a drama queen or is called overly emotional/must be on her period.

Currently dealing with this by my family. I've been dating someone who's done a few questionable behaviors, some that I'm not comfortable with. I'm met by mom and family telling me to "loosen up" and letting me know how it could be worse. I'm finally at the point where I'm setting boundaries and now I'm questioning myself because of my family.

These same men are usually the ones that follow tons of Instagram models and fawn over women online they don't even know. It's always a double standard with their "requirements" for what they want from women.

It started out with "I get to her house after a tough day", so I assumed it all took place at her house. But on top of that, he labels her as a "keeper" for washing and cleaning up his shit. God help me if I ever willingly clean up a grown man's bowel movement.

I understand that he is very busy since he is studying medicine and has a crazy schedule Aside from the fact that he's already missed your 2nd date due to oversleeping, do you think that his current lifestyle and schedule is going to mesh will with forming and maintaining a relationship? Dating someone with practically 0 free time isn't ideal, and if he's already too busy to see you this quick into dating, I don't see it becoming something that works out quite well.

I've noticed that alot of the posters at the dead bedrooms sub frequently suggest threatening partners using phrases like this. Its mind boggling that they think threats of cheating will make their wives/girlfriends want to sleep with them.

I agree. The higher likeliness of STD's and possible unknown children is enough to put me off. Add to that, sex is special to me and not something I view as just casual, so I wouldn't be compatible with someone who feels the opposite.

Thank you for clarifying! I honestly did not know any of this, but was interested in the series because I had always enjoyed Chris Hansen's shows and was glad to see that Onision is now being publicly exposed for his actions. I had followed some of the channels aimed at exposing Onision, but haven't kept up in a while. How many "misandrists" are going out and raping/killing/stalking men? In the UK, a woman is killed by her partner every 3 days. 1 in 6 women in the US have been victims of attempted/completed rape. I don't see how anyone can make the comparisons of misandry vs misogyny and act like they're the same thing. One leads to women avoiding men, the other leads to men actively raping and killing women.

I've seen some women try to normalize the use of Only Fans by men by saying "Its okay because they're supporting individual creators". That's still ignoring the fact that he's paying a woman for access to her body and doesn't erase the "creep factor" aspect of paying to watch a stranger have sex.

I loathe the whole idea of Twin Flames. The "signs" of a Twin Flame relationship are all warning signs of a toxic/abusive relationship and many young girls are being taught to believe that the guy abusing them or repeatedly leaving or cheating on them is somehow their other half.

My friends who have experience on dating apps say otherwise. Most of them run into guys who only want hookups or are juggling multiple women at once and have no plans on settling down. Shelley Duvall was actually abused and bullied by the director, Stanley Kubrick behind the scenes during filming for The Shining. He would berate her in front of the other cast members and tell them not to comfort her and to ignore her whenever possible, made her repeat the bat scene 127 times leaving her with bloody wounds on her hands, and would cut her lines without her noticing to leave her isolated from cast members. I agree. Alot of young women find the idea of "a guy who's cold/an asshole to everyone but her" appealing, thanks to media and movies who make this seem romantic or flattering. I know I felt special at first when he opened up and showed me his "warm" side in the beginning. It was love bombing of course, and the honeymoon phase didn't last long. So many men seem to need hours to "calm down". And its never them saying "Hey I need some space I feel stressed out", its more like being openly angry and making everyone else in the house nervous, like you described. My ex would often have rages that included him shoving his face inches from mine and screaming at the top of his lungs at me. Anything could cause an outburst, and after a while I learned to just "play dead" as in make myself as small as possible and stay quiet. He had never physically hit me, but threatened to and would talk about how much he wanted to. Its also basic etiquette to serve your guests/older people first. I've never seen the "man of the house" at my family get togethers demand to eat first, quite the opposite actually. My uncles were always in charge of grilling/carving the meat, and would make sure everyone else has a full plate before serving themselves.

So this manchild threw a fit and left the house on Christmas because he didn't get served first? All of this sounds like warning signs of abuse. His jealousy of her father, him storming out of the house because he didn't get catered to, him trying to guilt trip her for not being "obedient" and serving him first, and then calling his friend to validate him so he can use it against his wife with "My friends agree that you're wrong and I'm right". Thats such an awful generalization for victims of sexual abuse to hear also. Imagine being a victim and being told you'll likely to grow up and repeat the same acts as your abuser. And you're exactly right, if it were true, then why are the overwhelming majority (I want to say 98%) of sexual abuse perpetrators male?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/12/20 06:08 AM
32

Exactly. Sexual abusers are prone to lying to garner sympathy. And yes, I remember that the belief of "a sexual abuser was usually abused themselves" was proven to be untrue, I was wondering where the source was from.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/12/20 05:59 AM

Sexual assaults happen in male prisons, despite them being only male. They still would rather blame women for simply existing, because men aren't held accountable for their actions. I want to scream everytime I hear of a violent/abusive men and people make excuses with the "Well they were abused/had a bad childhood". If that was a logical reason, why are female murderers/abusers so rare compared to men?

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/12/20 01:25 AM

Alot of men look down on stay at home mothers, because they view it as as doing nothing. Yet, these same men would never agree on staying home all day with their children. Also, why would anyone prefer to send their young child to a daycare in the middle of a pandemic, if their spouse wants to stay home and they're able to easily afford it? I guarantee you hes still going to expect her to do most of the childcare and housework, just with the addition of working 40 hours a week.

One of the top signs a man may be abusive is if he grew up in a home where his father abused his mother. Chris Brown is a prime example I can list off the top of my head. Men with mommy issues are straight up dangerous. After dating one, I've made it a point to steer clear of any guy who has a bad/weird relationship with his mom. They punish the women they date for their moms past "mistakes" and are generally incapable of respecting women.

Alot of men are more than happy to cover up their friends cheating. They care more about their friend having his cake and eating it too than the health of his girlfriend. I've seen this happen in my exs family too, his cousin was frequently cheating on his long term girlfriend, and all of their family/friends knew but made it a point to hide it from the girlfriend who they were also pretty close to.

NBA Youngboy also physically assaulted his girlfriend by slamming her onto the ground in the hallway of a hotel, and then dragged her back to their room. Months later after this incidence, while pregnant, she was seen with a black eye (that she blamed on hot water splashing up while cooking). I don't see how men can idolize abusers and rapists.

They tried to do the same thing with Nicki Minaj. Apparently, signing Cardi B to Atlantic records was supposed to be their way of moving Nicki out of the female rap game and making a new, younger woman #1. Didn't work too well, although a feud did eventually happen between the two of them. They tried to do the same thing with Megan Thee Stallion, but she wasn't here for it and didn't want to make waves or have beef with other women.

I completely relate to feeling sad when a character in a book or movie has children. It's always been the turning point where I kind of lose interest because the story turns into being about motherhood and raising a child. I also have always felt scared of losing my identity if I ever had children, since I've seen it happen so often to women, and am not sure I have what it takes to be be a parent either. Also, I'm so sorry for the loss of your husband.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/12/20 06:21 AM

When I was younger, I was dead set on having children. Mostly out of selfish and insecure reasons, I wanted someone who would love me unconditionally and have the close bond that I missed out on in my own childhood. Now that I'm older, I really can't think of many reasons on why having a child would benefit my life, but can think of a ton of reasons why I shouldn't have children. I'm still pretty much on the fence, but so much about pregnancy, giving birth, and raising a child with a man terrifi…

It was! They had a lot of funny moments but also alot of serious moments about issues that weren't really discussed at that time. Episodes about racism, homophobia, gaslighting by male doctors, addiction, death, etc. I watch the reruns everytime the show is on.

Remember all the covers of magazines Kim Kardashian was on during her first pregnancy? I remember they'd zoom in on her feet and ankles and mock any outfit she'd wear. I felt awful for her during that time.

My ex would also say I was "always angry". Yet I wasn't the one who screamed, broke things, pushed him, or made threats to harm him. I was frequently walking on eggshells when I was upset over something because I knew any semblance of negative emotion I would show would be enough for him to explode. You're right, its complete projection. I'm so glad you're out of that relationship!

Guys I've dated have freely shown me their passcodes or have told me the pass code if I needed to use their phone for whatever reason. Its a red flag if a guy tries to hide his phone or takes it everywhere with him.

Thats so odd to me. I'm in the US so Universal Healthcare is already foreign to me, but I don't see how dentist and eye doctor visits AREN'T covered. Like having healthy teeth and eyesight should be a right to everyone, not a privilege. Going to the eye doctor is so expensive as it is, I have insurance but my eye doctor recently changed their plan, and I had to pay $500 out of pocket last time I was there.

Oh, to be 17 again and convinced that my toxic, cheating boyfriend was my "twin flame". I honestly hate the whole idea of Twin Flames as the description behind it is that an exciting, toxic, hot and cold relationship that leaves you heartbroken is actually your "OtHeR HaLf". It's just another thing that convinces young women to stay in abusive relationship.

I've done the "revenge" stuff in the past, might feel good in the moment but the best revenge is to simply stop caring and move on in your life, as cliche as it sounds. Alot of men enjoy making a woman go "crazy" over them and like having that power over you. Nothing hurts a LVM's ego more than blocking their number and paying them dust.

I'm glad she just blocked and left, instead of wasting hours reexplaining why the relationship isn't working and potentially being sucked back in by more empty promises. This is why I don't advocate against "ghosting", for many women, we spend months trying to communicate and fix problems in a relationship before throwing in the towel. Men aren't shocked on WHY we chose to leave, they're often not blindsided. They're just shocked when we finally have the courage to end the relationship.

What makes me sad is when she said that she tried speaking out to a colleague and got brushed off, and that one of the abuse incidences happened in public (at a gas station) and nobody did anything to help her. I admire her so much for speaking out despite knowing how often the media often ignores and shames abuse victims- especially victims of powerful men.

This man is a full on psychopath. He's abused at least 3 women (only 3 have been documented publicly but I'd be shocked if there wasn't more), has had a long documented history of public rages, assault charges, and has allegedly bragged about shooting stray dogs. Each time he's caught up in something, he gives the same old apology and blames his past traumas and alcohol abuse. When is enough going to be enough? Omg lol. Men really are the biggest drama queens. I remember as a child, my uncle in his 30's would frequently rage out at video games and be screaming so loud over losing that the whole house would hear. Along with multiple punch holes in his wall. I laugh everytime I hear that men are the "rational sex".

When I was younger, the word trick was used to describe men like that. Any guy who paid women for sex or who got "used" for his money was known as a trick.

I once saw a video of a guy who was being encouraged by other men (youtubers known for pranks) to destroy his girlfriends computer and then kick her out of the house in reward for like $1,000. He did it after being told not to be a "simp" and that was enough motivation for him to go on to do it. The poor girl had no idea what was going on. In the end, the boyfriend didn't even get the cash which was basically the best part of the whole thing.

My abusive exs family was great, except for the fact that they always took his side. He could be screaming inches away from my faces, calling me names, threatening to hit me,, but once he explained what I had "done" to cause his outbursts, then they'd let it go. I'm cool off of having an "adopted" family again. They never take your side when it comes down to it, and it ends up in even more heartbreak when your relationship ends and you lose more than just one person.

Very true. Add to that, law enforcement often doesn't do much to help victims of stalking and abuse. Even a restraining order (if you're able to get one) isn't going to stop someone who's crazy enough. Stalking is one of those crimes where alot of the time, no serious arrests happen until its too late. Have you ever watched the show on ID called "Obsession: Dark Desires"? So many examples of these situations playing out where the victim isn't taken serious until something awful happens.

Aside from the crazy statistics of domestic violence and cheating during pregnancy, the amount of women I've seen who were abandoned by their male spouse during a pregnancy/after birth they were talked into keeping scares the shit out of me. Women have to give up so much just to have children, and a lot of men can walk scott free and continue living a childless life aside from maybe paying child support.

Its always a glaring red flag when a man says he hates cats. If they're not your cup of tea, fine, but I've met too many men who openly brag about shooting stray cats or casually talk about abusing them like its a funny story. This is exactly why I roll my eyes when people suggest the woman just propose. Men have ONE thing to actually do and make special for the relationship, let's not act like its "equality" when the woman buys her own ring or proposes, its out of cheapness and lack of commitment from her male partner.

Hopefully this mindset becomes more prevalent among men. When I was a teenager, dating a guy in his 20's was viewed as cool and made you seem more "mature", but I've noticed a lot more young women these days who see the red flags of older men trying to pursue them and are aware that its creepy. I'm hoping I see more of these positive changes among younger people.

Same! Had an ex who I consistently felt nauseous around, despite knowing him for years. It was so bad, I couldn't eat around him, completely ruined my appetite everytime I was around him. He had good hygiene, showered twice a day, but I think it was my body warning me he just was not a good person for me to be around. I also had chronic yeast infections while with him. Its crazy how our bodies can give us those warning signs that we don't pick up on at first.

Yes! The sex thing, she was so annoying with that. I was done with her when she admitted she didnt wash her hands after going to the bathroom😩. I dont see how it doesn't bother her, but it seems like she thinks of what he did to his ex and rationalizes it with "He did that to HER, doesn't mean he'll do it to me". He was with his ex for years I believe, him and Adrienne are still fairly new, I wont be surprised when he cheats again.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/12/20 08:52 PM

His ex is also taking him to court for not paying child support. Jeezy's defense of that is that his ex wife is jealous of his new engagement. Okay, but what does that have to do with you not paying child support? 😂

Adrienne is the worst when it comes to pick me shit. I used to like her but my God, she gives the worst advice. She used to be super anti cheating, but once she married her husband who publicly cheated on his ex wife, she's become the biggest devils advocate for it.

They go straight to how its their right to assault women when equality comes up. Like there's actual subs where men post videos/scresnshots of women getting what they "deserve". The men over there don't like it because they benefit from societys expectations of a woman to settle in a relationship. Honestly, I dont see the big deal with aging. Men dont get shit for having gray hair, a beer belly, and wrinkles by 40 but women are expected to look 30 when we're 60. I'd rather normalize women aging instead of promoting botox, plastic surgery, and expensive skin care regimens.
