1	What to expect Because when she blindsided me at work when she showed up there and told me she was taking the kids, she said she had already filed paperwork and if I wanted to see our children I would need to pick it up. 3	What to expect Going through one since January of ‘23. We had talked about it during arguments, but never went through with it. She filed in a blindsided manner and took our two kids from our home. Went to her lawyers office two weeks later and found a whole laundry list of items she had been documenting for nearly a year before that. Most of it was beer cans in a garbage. 5	Forgiveness On a self directed level, my thought is, if God can forgive me for my mistakes, I can forgive myself for them as well. Helps me to get through the guilt of past behaviors that I hold myself accountable for. Doesn’t mean I get a free pass to repeat the same mistakes though! To forgive yourself is to acknowledge that you were wrong, make adjustments for your path forward, and stay consistent.	/r/Divorce_Men	11/01/24 07:28 AM
