I'm afraid this isn't very passable past your college years. Looking for something that looks a little more put together.

I think it was probably Max. I never watched The Natural, but I have watched a few of his videos.

For example, I remember seeing two friends together, but both on their phones. I approached with, "This is no time for Tinder!" They laughed and I asked if they were actually on Tinder. They said no, but one admitted that she did have a Tinder account. I asked her if I could send a message to a random guy on there. She let me do it and I sent "Are you here to dick around or are you here to dick me down?" to one of her matches. This had them rolling! We continued talking, exchanged numbers and I …

The difference is that I'm not suggesting compromising my values or my happiness to please others. I'm simply understanding that I'm a high-value man with many ways to enrich the lives of others.

There are a million different ways to give value. In a short 2-10 minute approach at a bar, which is the environment in which I realized its value, I found the easiest way to give value was to make a woman laugh. I'm pretty funny, so I knew I could be a nice addition to their night.

How to go about reaching this mindset or how to go about giving value?

Exactly right and I suppose it may be a fine line between the mindset I'm suggesting and the mindset you're warning against. If you can achieve my mindset, receiving value in return is a natural and inevitable result, but it is never the expectation or goal.

If you give value for the sake of hopefully receiving value in return, then that is a covert contract, which is a nice guy tactic. What I'm advocating is tapping into a mind set in which receiving value is an inevitable and natural result, but not the goal or expectation.

It may have been Max. Do you recall which video he says this in? I would love to go back and watch it.

Then work towards getting to a point in your life where you feel like what you can give is greater than what you want to take. It's fine to want things, but when you can offer something even greater in return you will turn a corner in your journey.

Walked up to a group of 4 girls. At the time I was focusing on two things: Not using canned openers and not bailing at the first sign of awkwardness. I opened with "You ladies are all sitting with the same posture!" What followers wasn't so much a rejection as a roast, but I stood there and took it because my goal for the night was to hang in longer than I was comfortable with. Usually I'm like you and can shake off rejection pretty easily, but this one affected me for a long time.

Absolutely right, but if you start going out a lot it becomes a money issue for most budgets. It wasn't unusual for me to go out 5 nights a week at my peak. Even 1 beer each night gets expensive at that level of frequency.

It can be done in a lot of ways depending on the type of interaction. If it's just a brief encounter at a bar, just making her laugh and adding some positivity to their night is, in its own small way, adding positivity. If you actually go on a date, show her a good time and treat her well. If it's just a one night stand, be respectful and make sure she enjoys the little bit of time she spends with you.

I don't think you're really disagreeing with me. Having standards isn't only, or even primarily, in reference to physical appearance. It sounds like there are qualities you find unappealing in many traditionally attractive women, so you try to meet girls who don't possess those characteristics. That's exactly my point. Don't waste your time on girls who annoy you.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you got something out of it. As for your question, I'll preface my answer by saying approaching in the street was never my go-to method of game. I did it, but I wouldn't call myself an authority on the topic. With that said, I found the best results would come from just being honest. "Hi, I just noticed you standing here and thought you looked interesting/cute/fascinating. I wanted to come meet you."

Practice is key to getting the balance right. It's also important to know who you're talking too. A drunk 21 year old is more likely to enjoy the constant joking than someone a little older. My advice would be to try to be serious the same way other guys try to be funny. It might be awkward at first, but keep working on it until it's more natural.

I think before getting into game every guy should ask himself why anyone would want to date him. If you struggle to come up with an answer then it's probably best to figure out some of the other stuff in your life first.

I never had a problem with anyone thinking I was creepy for not drinking. If someone would ask why I'm not drinking I would either say I already had a couple beers earlier, or I wasn't drinking tonight, or I would tell her if she partied as much as me she would need to slow her roll occasionally too.

Do a search within r/malefashionadvice for either "capsule wardrobe" or "French wardrobe". They both refer to the same thing: A minimalist, basic wardrobe composed of a limited number of very versatile peices. My goal is to get my wardrobe to 5 shirts and 5 pants. The trick is to make each piece versatile, so that you mix and match enough to have a ton of potential outfits.
