Why not practice discipline by doing something useful though? Learn another language, develop your career, train your body. Why waste willpower on trying not to touch yourself when you can put it to better use? Not to mention the fact that jerking off has a whole range of health benefits, for example prostate health and supporting deeper sleep. As far as I know there's only one study supporting nofap, and it only examined the testosterone changes over the course of 10 days, which is pointless in…

Nofap is bullshit. There's no science behind it. I tried it myself, went for 35 days before I quit because I saw no benefits and was constantly distracted. I'm not pointing out just the extreme outliers like asexuals, there's a large number of people who simply don't value sex all that highly. There seems to be this weird unquestioned assumption on TRP that all any man cares about is sex, but a lot of guys would rather have a loving relationship than endless meaningless sex.

What makes you think that's the case? Maybe a lot of people do, but I for one am not that interested in it. There's a whole continuum from asexuality to hypersexuality, it's wrong to assume everyone is the same in that way.
