There's a big stigma with going to see a counselor, but it's truly unwarranted. Therapy doesn't mean you're a psycho, it doesn't mean you're weak or unmasculine or whatever. Therapy has a multitude of uses and one is to learn self care and self love. This is a prime example of the blind leading the blind, I have never seen worse advice on dating in my life. Dating is more than approaching a woman and you have a lot to learn about interacting with women. Go see a counselor.
