Statistics suggest 6-10% of sexual assault accusations against men are fabricated. In the United States, this implies between 25,910 and 43,184 men were (knowingly) wrongly accused in the year 2015. 15 16 This is from my own research. Consider that these are only the ones that have been validated as false. Most researchers speculate that the number is at least twice that. You want some honesty? Regardless of the percentage, even one individual being falsely imprisoned should concern you. It does…

Estimates suggest false rape allegation rates could be as high as 25% in western countries. Documented rates (validated estimates) are easily at least 10%. That's around 1/10. And the implications of the crime can easily ruin a man's entire life even without the judicial process. Why aren't you? I'm skeptical about any allegation, because I believe in the due process.

I'm just projecting. Sorry for being a bitch. Your right, you were an impressionable teenager. Just my insecurities talking.

So... Why are these stories so prolific then? Oh, the bad boy abused me. I kept staying for some unspecified reason. I'm mostly just projecting my own self-hatred at you. Gonna be honest though for once. You want these behaviors, yet you complain about them. I'm what society designates as a "nice guy" I guess (wouldn't self-describe as such), high in empathy, then I see these comments, there's the blatant statement that you don't desire empathetic men. Then you rattle on about how they mistreate…

This is going to sound cruel but whatever. I can't have sympathy for you, because this is the type of man your attracted towards obviously. Your not attracted towards empathic and/or caring men. The majority of women aren't. So here you are complaining about it, while me being that empathetic and/or caring male, know that you would never be attracted towards the converse. Which is perfectly fine... Be attracted to whom your attracted towards. There is obvious derision in my tone. Probably stemmi…

I actually relate hardcore. I have pelvic floor issues, any penetration is overwhelmingly painful. Even really small toys are unbearable. It's even more frustrating for me because I'm very submissive. So it basically means I can't have sex at all. Hooray! Enforced abstinence :I Sorry for the neurotic question. Coping with size insecurities is almost impossible

Oh no I love Idiocracy. I meant about the plants needing electrolytes thing. But I think I recall what your talking about now lol. When they were cultivating crops with Gatorade or whatever haha Real talk that movie actually terrified me though. I've seen a lot of studies that suggest human intelligence is declining rapidly with each subsequent generation. Just look at "The Federalist Papers". There's not an individual alive that could write that in 2020. Hopefully genetic engineering comes to t…

That's interesting. I think it's the complete opposite. Long time ago I saw some statistics that suggested religious people are almost universally more afraid of mortality. I think religious people need something to provide them emotional security or purpose. Which everyone does btw. I think that's just their outlet

I have gender dysphoria. So I have a fairly good idea... Not much different. But biologically I'd obviously exhibit gendered behavior, like more empathy and emotions, less stoicism, etc. Probably really motherly but nerdy. I guess having the insight that I have as a man I would probably be way more sympathetic to men's plight. Because being an average male is pretty fucking terrible the more I read and experience the more that impression is reinforced. I often wonder if I was born male with this…

It's kind of impressive how politically motivated research tends to just abstain from, you know, doing research. Your absolutely right that religious institutions are the vanguard against legislation. Especially because it's from the Jewish community. How many politicians are going to openly advocate against Jewish "religious freedom". Not many... There's some serious pressure in Denmark though for abolition. If only because their Muslim and Jewish population is almost nothing. Well thanks for t…

Thanks for explaining. This is kind of weird, but in regards to that other woman I was speaking to a few days ago... So she actually agreed with me that it does fulfill the criteria for genital mutilation. But her primary argument was that because of the fact that this results in a comparison to female genital mutilation, it shouldn't be described that way. What do you make of that? I've been trying really hard to wrap my head around it. This is a really common perspective. for context, I'm actu…

Well I don't agree with it being legal but I also don't think that it's "women's fault". It was never my intention to imply that it was. I agree with you that it's a systemic issue in society. Men are often the ones shutting protestors down and suppressing the issue. This is because of male psychology. Men don't want to accept that they were in a position of vulnerability, so they pretend nothing happened, usually becoming belligerent when research is presented. But to advocate for FGM to make i…

Uhhh.... This is shaky ground we're navigating on. But it's pretty well documented that women are more accepting, and less disagreeable. That doesn't however mean women are docile though. I'd like to add that men are also heavily controlled by popular sentiment. That's practically the overton window in a nutshell. We're contained within a box of acceptable opinion. There are people that deviate from that slightly and push the box in some direction, but at any point in time that box is static and…

Would you mind hearing a victim out? Modern research indicates that the procedure correlates to an empirical decrease in sexual functioning and sensitivity. Men also experience long-lasting psychological damage from the procedure. Subconsciously exhibiting higher rates of depression, sadness, trauma, and anxiety. One of the most disturbing statistics about the practice is that approximately 117 infant boys die every year in the United States while having it performed on them. I can't actually ha…

What exactly is this "manosphere"? Are you just describing redpill, incels, MGTOW? Or are you also describing men's rights communities in general? Cause /r/MensRights is pretty much as legit as they come. And has a demographic that is extremely diverse

I think where this becomes a problem is the cruel/objectifying nature from most of the women there. It's like if a guy doesn't perfectly encapsulate your idea of masculine demigod then he's garbage trash. Most of the commentary there is also blatantly misandrist. I think the women there have been hurt many times. So i feel some kind of empathy but I feel like turning into a monster and framing half of humanity like they do is just as bad if not worse than what you see in radical male communities…

Why does "reactionary" somehow discredit the validity of a movement though? Just because some of these communities evolved because of changing dynamics in society doesn't mean their concerns are unfounded. For example, the "manosphere" is distinctly anti-feminist, but I don't think this can be attributed to malice. I think it's a reaction to men slowly becoming disadvantaged and even oppressed by feminism. I know that's kind of a radical statement in most circles. But ya I just think the pejorat…

The problem persists regardless. There is no certain remediation. The inequality we see facing men in the "sexual marketplace" will only become more abject with time. So I think this is more of a society problem, actually. What do you do when the overwhelming majority of men are involuntarily celibate because of social change?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/20 05:26 PM
1

Your comments seem contradictory to me. Their "rhetoric" is exactly what you espoused. That the sexual marketplace is unequal, deterministic in some respects by virtue of evolution, and ultimately disadvantageous to the majority of men. Considering the following is a citation from your own speech ~ I am of the opinion that men will start giving up on marriage, relationships, trying to woo women. Men will also feel drop in testosterone and drop in ambition. That naturally implies a kind of crisis…

I am aware that those guys are mocked and ridiculed, for a good reason, but the problem goes much deeper. Considering that you agree with their philosophy, why are they mocked and ridiculed "for good reason"? I am of the opinion that men will start giving up on marriage, relationships, trying to woo women. Men will also feel drop in testosterone and drop in ambition. On all accounts, operating on what you said, they are experiencing an existential crisis.

because they have blue pill notions that a woman should just love them for who they are. certainly explains me well i don't want to be a machine that generates resources for my partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/20 11:01 PM

Your misunderstanding the concept entirely. Hypergamy refers to status, not physical attraction. Both genders pursue a partner with high standards. Only this is expressed differently. Men literally couldn't care less about the relative status of their partner. Women absolutely do concern themselves with that.

Hundreds of women saying that money doesn't matter to them in a relationship are gaslighting you. And I would move forward under the pretense that they all care about it considerably, judging from the fact that they felt the need to compensate to that extent. I would respond similarly to a bunch of men saying that age doesn't matter in a partner. Yeah? And I'm a leprechaun

What that tells me is that he is comfortable with himself and with he doesn’t harbour traditionally machismo outlook on life. That will be challenging. Even if a guy presents prototypically feminine, that doesn't necessarily mean he isn't instilled with those values. I like wearing skirts & painting my nails. I also have a lot of feminine interests. I'm still pretty homophobic and disgusted by men who present feminine. Even if you decide to move past these imprinted mannerisms, they are still in…
