Did you dump your hot ex? If you're 26 now, that's about the right age to marry, settle down, and have kids. You haven't stated if that's what you want now. If it is, then great! Also, are you two at relatively equal positions on the hierarchy of society? Meaning... if you feel that you are higher up on the status hierarchy, you might always feel like you can do better than her, which could lead to cheating or at least constantly wondering if you could do better. The same goes vice versa. ALSO, …

Wait, so don't lead them on with the hopes of a long term relationship so that they are willing to be more wild in bed? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gab7rrzOr2I

You're right, I shouldn't use absolutes. Only a sith deals in absolutes. And I do remember watching some video interviews of woman being aware of certain actions/patterns while dating men. So you're right, there are a percentage of woman who are self-aware enough to realize what they really want, thankfully. Wether that percentage has changed or is changing, no idea.

I don't quite understand. So in the first couple weeks, she's trying to define who I am, and based off of that, that decides wether or not the friendship continues, and if it does, the first two weeks also defines the type of contact? What does "the type of contact" mean? Sexual vs platonic contact? And leaving the lines blurry... So instead of the guy coming outright and saying he's just your friend, or coming outright the other way and saying he wants to hookup, you blur the lines so the girl …

I see... I'm just struggling trying to find this very thin line. To me this strategy isn't worth it. It only works on a girl who probably watched a lot of disney movies growing up and has this idea of a perfect man who "treats her right". The courtship I'd imagine would be anticlimactic, if the man ever gets past the friend zoned stage that is. Not only that, but a girl like this would probably be the type to say that they prefer to have guys as friends because they're less drama. Oh and don't f…

How to seduce your husband? Don't be fat, put his hands on your tits. That's it.

I'd love to hear the mental gymnastics it would take to explain to me how this post is not about playing games and is representative of a guy being genuine.

physical intimacy early on Alright yeah, warm her up. Easy peasy. Don’t just be her shoulder to cry on, be her favorite person to hug or hold hands with or just always be in contact with Wait hold hands with? Always be in contact with? Being a shoulder to cry on? It sounds like I'm already her boyfriend! That was easy! Sexual innuendos in **certain conversations can help with framing how she sees you. Ohhhh... okay. I see what's going on. So she's telling me all of her problems, we hug, we touch…

So what you're saying is... Be her white knight and hope that hopefully one day soon she will suddenly want you in a not so platonic way? Wow I can hear the panties dropping from here. I apologize for my rudeness. But what you're explaining is a well trotted path to cuck beach.

100% agree, though no woman will tell you this is true, it is 100% truth.

Build up that ego. Not too much, but just enough. Do things that other people hold in high esteem, i.e. make a lot of money in a respectable way, dress well, have good hygiene, be charismatic, make people feel confident and interesting when they're around you. I'm writing this from an American perspective. Every society has different standards and definitions of success. Adjust accordingly.

This sounds like woman advice... "Be her friend! But don't say you're her friend outright. And if she refers to you as her friend, tell her you're not!" Is this like how two woman can be mortal enemies, but from the outside, from a guy's perspective, they look like friends? Yeah no, I'm not gonna play games like that. It's 2018, no one plays mind games anymore if you want to be successful. Go on dates once in a while to catch-up? Makes it sound like I'm seeing her once every couple months. Be ge…

I'm 22 and I'm grateful I learned about the advice you gave just recently, but not before falling in love and being in a relationship for 3 years that was destined to fail. I've learned more in the last 5 months being alone that I have being with her. Definitely gonna be going through your posts tomorrow.

That's what my last relationship was founded on too. Must be a common thing! I've learned since then though. I would imagine some couples would be able to build each other up, just didn't happen with us, or with you it sounds like. Do you plan on finding a new girl? Or gonna enjoy single hood?

Ohh yeah I see now. Have you talked to her about it in person yet? Texting can be difficult.

Just don't be in a relationship with an insecure person. It never works. The best thing you can do for their insecurity is to put on a collar and leash and hand them the leash. I've done that, and it's not terrible, but it's also not ideal. Her flirting was probably more of a way to boost her self-esteem, which a lot of ladies unfortunately are low on.

You haven't learned already? If you're the man, you're automatically the bad guy! Come on man! The only reasonable relationships out there are between two gay men. The only happy couple I've ever known are my two gay uncles! Girls live in a different world. If you're breaking up, I don't see why you care wether you end up being the good guy or the bad guy. It's not in your hands to convince her. It's in her hands, to first decide, then to look for any and all supporting evidence.

I'm sorry, are you planning a comedy routine? Or trying to pick up girls? Even from your short post, you sound very... stiff? The lines don't matter, location doesn't matter, just walk up, express your interest, make them feel confident/attractive/funny

Couldn't agree more. Idk who would down vote you. What she did tells a lot about the state of their relationship. It's too bad guys only see what was going on in hindsight.

From what I've learned (which isn't much) is if I were in you're shoes, my response to her first text would have been "you don't give me permission to do anything. If I want to flirt with girls, it's my decision if I decide to or not. Same goes for you" And that would be that! I've been in a relationship where we both relied on each other for happiness and so we had to both ask the other if we could do this or do that. Felt alright, but I finally learned that it's not sustainable and will slowly…

Gonna have to agree with you there John. Too many chances for text to be misinterpreted.

More of a shotgun approach then. Which for someone like me who gets analysis paralysis, I'd be far better off going up to random hot chicks without thinking and seeing how far I get. At least that way I save my mental energy for the actual conversation rather than pondering the likelyhood that they'd have a positive response.

Honestly best advice. The "don't give a fuck" attitude helps with every facet of life. Especially with seducing women because they can smell the lack of desperation a mile away.

Exactly. I even think there's a universal law called something like... the law of averages! But is was more more specific... like a 10% for everything if you just keep trying. So if you keep approaching hot women, you'll eventually get a yes, and the chance is much more than 1%. More like 10% like I said.

Maybe you misunderstood me. Let me clarify. Usually with a high position in society, which today means having a good job with a lot of fun money, your brain concludes that your status is high and upticks serotonin, thereby boosting your mood and confidence, making it easier to find and seduce a mate. If your brain is failing to correlate your successes to a high societal position, then that's a minor brain dysfunction and can likely be fixed with medication and/or a combination of supplements. I…

Whoa congrats on your recovery! Do you think a lot (~25%) of young girls (<22) have nice girl syndrome? Just curious because I've been the guy friend of such girls. Also, genuinely curious, what triggered you to go to therapy? There's a lot of stigma about having a therapist, so I'm just assuming something pushed you from the tipping point to get a therapist. Don't have to answer, I have a bad habit of asking too personal of questions.

I hope you have a cuckolding fetish... or discover that you have a cuckolding fetish. Because that's where I see this going. Not that there's anything wrong with that! https://media.giphy.com/media/26gspjl5bxzhSdJtK/giphy.gif

You need to get some blood work done and maybe some gene testing regarding serotonin. If you have a good job and are high up in the social hierarchy, you shouldn't be THIS mopey. Blood work first. Maybe a vitamin D deficiency. Something simple like that is easy to fix, but can make someone who has everything feel down. Get the thyroid check. Serotonin uptake. Your attitude does not match your potential and it might not be your mind's fault, but your brain's.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
