Eh not likely. There are holds which are restraints purely and not painful. The 'violence' in them occur at the point of deflecting enemy blows (contact will be made but ideally just with the attacking wrist) and locking them down. If you can't swing your arm because it will hurt if you do, you don't swing your arm. The next obvious question is how to define an act of violence, but if you're fine with being bludgeoned to death - by all means...

Not an accident if she immediately came after you. I had similar issues: framed for attempted rape by my probation officer and a girl also on probation. I never was closer than ten feet!
