I think it makes sense. They're protecting a very defined, drawn line. It's pretty hard to get near them by accident. Standard military would act pretty similarly if someone crossed into a restricted area, I think.

In terms of guns, I would say that's pretty modern. Some guns from the 1860s or a hundred years ago are still used today as "modern" weapons.

Yeah, but the vague ideas presented here are mostly right, the presentation is just 0/10. Respect is definitely earned, but you shouldn't start at a negative assumption, either.

I guess, but the thing with Superbad is that the corniness of the jokes was the point. It's not about the dick jokes so much as the idea of dick jokes. They're supposed to be crude, young men that don't really know anything else. The dick joke itself is how he can't help but draw dicks, no matter what. It's a very meta joke. Just like the original Ghostbusters had a really solid dick joke with "yes, it's true, this man has no dick.", which itself isn't about the dick joke either. It's the misdir…
