This definitely is the case with Post-Modern(or either of the numerous labels for this brand) Feminism. I know old school feminists, there's a huge difference. Feminism used to be about equal rights/equal opportunity, and there's still some work to be done in that area. These individuals though, they're out of their minds.

This is a perfect analogy. It's somewhat understandable that white women might get extra nevous in said situation, but actually asking a black person to alter their behaviour due to someone else's paranoia? Ridiculous.

I've done this on occasion. I'm not a feminist. But I'm also not for making other people unnecessarily uncomfortable. Interesting how feminism is turning more and more into a religion, where there is a narrowly prescribed code of conduct for every specific situation. This reminds me of Islam, where it is 'recommended' to keep on as much of your clothing as possible during sex or to avoid looking at your genitals while bathing/showering, lest you get aroused...or to always enter toilet with your left foot or to make sure that you're not facing the direction of Mecca while taking a shit.

I know I'm a little late to the party, but here it goes: “Self-control is the chief element in self-respect, and self-respect is the chief element in courage.” - Thucydides (they keep using this quote in Total War™ games) Don't worry too much about the specifics of character development for now; for now just focus on one thing that bothers you more than anything and focus on working on that. It could be that you live with your mom; in that case find a way to move out ASAP. If you don't got the m…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
