Your relationship is already over. If you continue to be with her after behavior like this it will only end in tragedy for you. Take some time and work on you for a while. You deserve to be happy and anyone who treats their significant other like this will hurt you. She's only looking out for yourself, you should do the same.

I see you've met my ex wife. She's the reason I found TRP in the first place. Live and learn...

I think there's a time constraint for common law marriages though. I wonder how property division works with common law divorces.

This right here is my philosophical mindset. Improve yourself and the women will come. The anxiety over not closing is what is causing you to fail - because you view closing as your goal. You have to love yourself more. Do the things you want to do, learn the things you aspire to learn, become the man you want to be. Women will see that you are a man who does what he wants and will resonate with that.

I guess it's how you view it. I've driven BMW's over the years, but never as a status symbol. I drive them simply because I like the way they feel. I've driven many cars, but the BMW's are the only cars I've driven for the pure joy of driving - with no particular destination in mind. I won't guess as to the motivations of the OP, but I'll leave the comparison of fancy cars and things to the women.

Reminds me of the time my exwife backed into another car. She was clearly at fault but watching her spin it into someone else's fault was entertaining.

Speaking from the standpoint of an American (who grew up in non metropolitan areas), a car symbolizes freedom. When you turn 15 (13 in some states) it becomes the primary means of independence. With a car you go as far as you like and come and go as you please. I think the first taste of this is probably when a boy receives his first bicycle. You can go far, but not too far (you eventually want to return home for supper). A car is a greater extension of this. Incidentally there's no train stop a…

I found TRP by: 1) Finding MGTOW first when doing research into female nature and the nature of relationships (when I discovered my wife cheating on me). 2) Since I like to look at both sides of an argument I then found some of the feminist channels opposite MGTOW. 3) From their many posts vilifying TRP I found my new home. 😊

In Korea I was in a restaurant bathroom using a urinal. When I glanced at the mirror I saw a woman walk past me. For a moment I panicked thinking I was in the wrong restroom then thought, "Wait, I'm at a urinal..." As it turns out it was a unisex bathroom. Seems like an efficient use of space to me.

This was the cardinal mistake I made in my marriage, I based my happiness on hers. I look back now and hate my earlier me for being so weak. I have a coworker who's about to get married and is so whipped it's hard for me to watch. I keep telling him to read this stuff but he won't open his eyes.

Great post, thank you for serving. I find it funny that in English we have only one word for love. In Greek there are many - to include love for self, sex, family, sibling, brotherly, etc... Perhaps it's okay to love - just make sure you know which style you're loving in though. Additionally the Greeks thought that Eros (sexual love) was the most destructive and Philia (comradeship) was held with a much higher regard.

I'm in the same boat as everybody else here in saying that you really need to cut her out of your life. She obviously has no respect for you and from what you've been writing it looks like she's escalating in belligerent behavior. It's starting off as little things to test your boundaries, but it won't be long until she finds a way to truly hurt you. Get out, get out now.

I understand it as a frame supports a picture, the picture is how people view you (or how you wish to be viewed.) In Chinese culture we refer to it as "face."

I had a motorcycle once - women would approach me out of the blue for just walking into a bar with my helmet. I found it curious but couldn't explore that avenue for long since I crashed shortly afterwards.

I've personally seen this with a friend and his HB8 friend. She'd cockblock him at every turn when she was supposed to be his wingman. She'd never sleep with him though.

Thanks - I honestly think that's one of the primary lessons I've learned in TRP. I've lived my entire life trying to make other people happy. It's the way I was raised. I've done things and made sacrifices for other people's happiness even when it wasn't in my best interests. All that has ever gotten me was walked on my entire life. It was a moment of clarity for me when someone wrote that it's okay to put my own happiness first - because no one is going to do it for me.

Wow, it's like you wrote this to me. I'm currently seeing 2 women for the first time in my life, one flaked on me last night so I called the other to spend the night. This morning I woke up in a weird place mentally since I'm new to the red pill and am questioning the morality of what I'm doing. I'm witnessing the change in my life after the pill but I'm still having trouble believing. The lessons I've learned here are uncannily accurate.

I used to not like it either. One of the larger problems with working out is that there's no immediate result. As for motivation and me: I don't work out to pick up women, I work out to improve myself and it's never too early or late to invest in your own health. It took about 6 weeks before I saw results and when I see myself in the mirror I know I look good. You can't really put a price on that. One of the things that motivated me was thinking (while I'm watching tv or whatever) that if I had …

This is an interesting read as I'm relatively new to the red pill. I've been seeing someone for roughly 3 weeks now and while the sex is alright - I find I'm not that into her. She's a sweet girl but on my end the attraction isn't really there. I'm getting concerned in that she's starting to get attached in what started out as a casual thing. Now comes a girl that I am attracted to. We haven't done anything yet but she's into me. I've never had more than one relationship at a time so I feel like…

Wow, your story mirrors mine too. I left a career as enlisted navy to get married and start a family. I got used to seeing guys return from deployment to divorces and wives with new boyfriends so I didn't want that life. I got married in college with the idea that if I could find a woman who'd stick with me during difficult times, she would be true during times good and bad in the future. I pursued my degree in aerospace engineering using my GI Bill and sign up bonus from the military. I almost …

One of my outlooks in life is that money is something that can always be earned, but time is something you never get back. So make the most of your time and invest in yourself.

I thought the goal wasn't to not get cheated on but to expect it so you can easily fall back on your other plates with little regret.

This reminds me of that expression : Good judgement comes from making mistakes, making mistakes comes from bad judgement.
