So you have stated but never corroborated with any arguments.

It is easy to ascribe criticism directed at you as directed at your gender, but it won't get you far.

So male anger and outlashes are encouraged in mental hospitals..? You can't just make absurd claims and substantiate them with rambling, ad hominem and strawmen. At least not if you want to be taken seriously, and not be disregarded as just another woman with more emotion than sense.

Do you have any concrete examples of where male anger and outlashes are normalised and encouraged?

This is not normal practice in any churches I am familiar with. You're Catholic?

It will definitely make you likable, but being likable is not the same as being sexually attractive.

No. At the end of the day, women have their own will. They are not robots that can be perfectly gamed. They are human beings with their own motivations and desires. Theoretically you could read their mind and all of their communications and adapt appropriately, but that would defeat the purpose. Without the risk of failure, the pursuit is worthless.

She won't actually be interested in the details; she'll just be interested in your passion. For most women it does not matter if your passion is soccer or MTG. They are equally alien to her. She might have some stereotypes against MTG players, but contradicting them sparks interest. This idea that "geeky" interests like Star Trek and chess repels women is just fantasy. But diving into these interests to such an extent that you don't care about anything else, like basic hygiene, does repel. Also,…

If you communicate to some girl that she's beautiful and you want to go on a date with her, you are not necessarily communicating that her task of charming you is all done. You're just communicating that you're willing to give her a chance.

What lies in the term "bitch shield". As an European, the majority of girls I hit on are polite and friendly. Occasionally they are the exact opposite but in those cases the norm seems to be that they are waiting for a date or are just pissed off already. I haven't met a lot of American girls, but of those I have met none has ever had any kind of "bitch shield". If anything, they are even friendlier than the girls I'm used too. Sure, there are some girls who does not seem interested until I've m…

Sure you can, but you gotta have some contact with reality to get anywhere with the conversation. A conversation isn't just about saying stuff; it's about communicating.

"like touching a woman when you first meet her, and complimenting her. I don't think that's appropriate" It is most appropriate to make your intentions clear from the get go, and not try to creep into her zone.

Women aren't all the same. That's what makes them attractive. Some prefer to use long time to text you back. If it seems like she tries to keep the conversation going, she is. Ask her out.

Coy. I kind of agree with News_Bot in that it would probably work better if you did not look away. What the looking away bit might mean depends on the rest of your communication and context. If you have initiated eye contact and gained attention what you look away at will also interest her. I bet she will often make change focus to whatever you are looking at, and if she does not see it, will be curious as to what grabbed your attention. But if it does not seem like you are looking at something …

Easy way out is short, intense eye contact with the guy and overbearing smile. If he laughs awkwardly he's been deframed, and will hesitate to do it again. Only works if he's insecure, but in my experience most people who say shit like that in the wrong contexts are.

The only reason she is saying that is because it was played out as a funny and cool thing in a sitcom. She is just trying to live out a fantasy, and do something cool she saw on TV. It is a kind of lame and insecure thing to do, but she did not actually put as much meaning into it as you did. In that situation, calling it out as a sitcom reference and making jokes about it would "mix things up". I would probably disengage after that regardless because I'd take offense, like you, to be honest. Ev…

Someone close to me experienced the same. Men who endure this are admirable, and prove that men too are capable of loving their children to the same degree as women. It disturbs me that this is not a widely held belief, especially among our judges. Prominent feminists in my country have come out in support of this Op-Ed, and the statistics that backs this up has not be dismissed by all. Kind of makes me hope change is on the horizon.
