| 2 | Girl, 16, jailed after lying about rape after cheating on boyfriend.What makes me angry is the guilty-until-proven-innocent stance that most courts (and, in fact, most countries) take about rape. While I'll certainly be the first to admit that rape is one of the worst crimes you can commit, that doesn't change the fact that justice works on an innocent-until-proven-guilty basis. When you remove that process and assume that the alleged perpetrators are guilty simply because of the severeness of the crime?
