I've posted to /r/the_donald in the past, and I dont like Trump. Generalizing someone's posting history doesnt mean anything. These people are just demonstrating their jealousy at other groups getting to play the victim about dumb stuff, by playing the victim about dumb stuff.

I legitimately have no idea why you all keep talking about a stupid ad for razors. It was innocuous , disingenuous marketing fluff. Sure buddy. Whenever someone calls someone else a bitch or says they're "bitching" they're calling them a woman, or telling them they're being like a woman. No matter the culture, no matter the person, that is what everyone is doing, no exceptions. Memes and word meanings don't change over time.

Commonly used though, it isn't in many places. If I say my buddy is bitching too much, I mean complaining not that he's 'being like a woman'. Used at a woman, it could be, but doesn't mean it is sexist. You have to take context into account.

Maybe holding or feet to the fire will make for more level headed discussions. I don't ever come here, but I'm a guy and from an outside perspective it does seem like this movement has benefitted from that.
