I'm honestly trying to think of an instance where she would be correct but I cannot. Some parents might hold their children to higher standards than others but that has absolutely nothing to do with gender. I can almost guarantee that the woman who tweeted this didn't think of one example to justify her point prior to making this post. thanks for the heads up. I was unaware and I will make the necessary changes before I repost. Not that I disagree with the sub rules at all but purely out of curiousity: if that tweet was made public on Twitter by the user and posted to Facebook, why is it that the sub mods prefer to blur out the user's name and face?

Yes definitely. I guess I stopped short of a full solution in my comment. I was implying that if they remove this they should replace it with a more representative one, you're absolutely right about that. It's definitely an issue that needs awareness, they have just selected the worst poster for that purpose.

you should politely suggest to the doctor or receptionist that they remove this. It's definitely not sending the right message to people who happen to read it.
