A neg is a purposeful attack. You even said it was a “calibration thing” and to “hit them softly enough but not to sting them.” Now, you’re saying it’s depends on whether a person is secure or insecure? You keep flip flopping. Personally if someone is negging, I would move on and not talk to them. It took awhile for me to learn this because I know I can attract someone else...someone who doesn’t have to restort to hurting someone, even if it’s softly. Anyway, thanks for the info, we both have be…

I see. I didn’t really take your comment personally until you suggested that I was “maybe very low self esteem.” That’s when I shared my experience... I still don’t understand it but I’m going to do more research. I just wouldn’t think it would work on a women with high self esteem because they respect and value themselves. Thanks for the info

In your statement, you stated that neg works on women with self esteem (which you said might have applied to me). Now you’re saying that it applies to girls with high self esteem? You just contradict yourself unless it was a typo. I included the last part because once I’m neg, I shut them down and ghost. I don’t play games like that so I move on. But then they freak out and starting calling and texting across different platforms coming off as insecure and needy.

Idk. I find negging as another form of manipulation. Idk understand the appeal because why would you want to manipulate someone into liking? You don’t have enough confidence/security within yourself to be liked?

I understand a little bit more. Aren’t negs suppose to work on those who have self low esteem though? That’s what I was confuse about. When it has been tried on me, I move on because I have other options. But then all of a sudden those guys contact me through 2-3 different platforms demanding me to answer them. Based on my experience, it appears that is used by low self esteem guys. Idk that just my experience

From experience. It has been tried on me several times already. Did research and didn’t know it was a thing.

Explain to me, how is my point ridiculous. Your comment was that women are more emotional based while men are more logical based. If this is the case, and this is how they COMMUnICATE (like you mentioned on your comment) wouldn’t it apply to ALL situations since we COMMUNICATE in all situations. Personally I still disagree with you.

Okay. Immature/mature...I don’t care about it. I’m going to treat someone the way I want to get treated. If they disrespect, okay I’ll move on. Plus, this method has always worked for me. A little too well that I get annoyed of being asked out to much over a time period. And tbh I don’t even know what they see in me so I’m working on improving myself. I personally think my numbers supports my action. How has your method gone for you? What’s so wrong about offering validation? I understand their …

I want to understand your point of view. Can you elaborate? Do you have some insight that a person in their early twenties isn’t getting? My comment and point of view comes from someone that has dated lots of men and women and they always want to continue the relationship. But like everyone else I have some insecurities so I end up taking a break. I just stop messing around because I need to focus on my future and self instead of messing with people who are already talking about marriage.

I don’t understand what your point is, respectfully. I respectfully disagree. Okay, so women are more emotional while men are more logical? Aren’t most wars and fights started by men when they didn’t get there way or were disrespected? Aren’t men more likely to murder someone. Aren’t the darkest and evilest serial murders and killers male? Ted Bundy? Jeffrey Dahmer. School shooters? I’m not saying that men are evil or all but I’m pointing out how your statement does not make sense. Anyway, every…

Thank you for sharing your insight. I have both experienced it and done online research since I didn’t understand the appeal of it.

Where in her text did she say he was moving too fast? She left the door open by saying she wants to stay in good terms because she likes him. She stop this situation knowing her circumstances. She did not continue leading him on or from getting too emotionally invested...so that he can find someone with the right circumstances. He is responsible for closing the door. Not her.

Curious question. Did you actually want this to end like you stated in the text “(I wanted to text you about this subject...). I have no idea the circumstances between you and her. But this reminds me of a situation I was in. Anyway, based on her text, it didn’t seem like she dumped you. Right now, she is prioritizing her education and knows she will be out of town. She was honest with you and didn’t want to lead you on or even neglect you so she was direct and explained herself. She did mention…
