Most redpills and libfem pickme ideology is through social media. If you can keep yours kids off it as long as possible, you have the best chance to keep them grounded. Educating them and yourself on how the internet creates bubbles of misinformation. Use the current anti-vaxx movement as a good example of people being radicalised by facebook. Keep them engaged in sports/activities and their selfesteem will not sink into the floor so they are not susceptible to toxic ideologies by their peers. A…

Not to mention how they are bullying the first Korean 3 gold time olympian medalist in their country because she (An San) cut her hair short... Many companies in Korea are even refusing to acknowledge her achievements incase of backlash and boycott.

I felt the part "being thrown to the wolves and not having a clue" because that was my entire experience dating as a young woman with no guidance. My parents offered no help, I relied on misinformation from cluesless peers and the internet, I was not taught red flags or how to handle pushy men. Dating was overwhelming and every decision was made on the spot and through pickme culture. I feel upset for girls growing up in hypersexualised social media pedo culture. It is 100 times worse now.

Please do a true crime podcast on Aileen Carol Wuornos. She was a convited as a serial killer but was a prostitue who claimed she was defending herself against men who tried to rape her. Her case is really interesting as misogny and discrimination played a big role in her court case.

Love the 🌹 to 🌵 analogy! After therapy from my ex, I can detect a narc blindfolded, the sense is so strong. But stay vetting ladies, they are everywhere 🌍❗❗ NVM/LVM only get better at being despicabale the older they get as they have more experience manipulating and gaslighting women 👎

Songs like Girlfriend were what her label pushed her into writing or else they would keep delaying her albums. So many pop stars are held back by middle age white men controlling what the public listens to and preventing them from being anything other than the virgin pickme or the hypersexualised pickme :/ Kelly Clarkson and Pink are few and far between. And even then Kelly Clarkson had a lot of problems with her record label pushing pickme songs on her.

I think hikkomoris opt out of society due to anxiety and pressure to achieve in such a driven society. Hikkomoris will not even talk to their parents let alone have a gf to leech off of. This type of bum-male in the post is common in the west because pick-mes in the west accept this type of behaviour and there is no standard set on men to have certain requirements in order to get married/have a family/partner like a good job, a house, assets.

A great post that FDS is about looking inside first and then looking outside to find a man later. Alot of levelling up is about unconditioning yourself to the patriarchy and you can't do that while being tied down to lvm. Reading, watching documentaries and going to therapy has really helped me see who I was and how much more I have to go before being comfortable about dating again.

We hope but men are marrying women from their families home origin countries like India and Pakistan because asian women raised in western countries have higher standards now. But no one wants to marry those men anyway lol

I echo this! I wish someone told me it was rape. It took such a long time to recognise the abuse. Therapy really saved my life when I realised everything I had been through. It is not "pressured into sex" it is "coercive rape" and we need to start calling it what it is

A lot of women in asian cultures are rejecting marriage because we understand that marriage is a patriarchial enslavement to a MIL and her son. In a generation I have seen women married in their early teens/20s to rejecting marriage until 35. It is changing. But I think for south asian women we see/hear regularly how badly marriage treats women. The juxtapostion between being under 20, being pushed for university and a career to being 20+ and married off has caused a generation to reject marriag…

Men as a gender have opressed women but that is not what FDS is here to fix. It is here to give dating advice in navigating how to choose a suitibal partner in a patriachial society. Yeah they have tried several times to get back in contact but it is for my own mental health that I had to leave our friendship. These people are hard to leave as you feel like they suck you into their world, you know how emotionally and mentally f'ed up they are, how much they depend on you, so leaving them feels wrong. But it is for the best, you really can't fix anyone who does not want to be fixed. I really wish them to overcome their experiences but I can't be part of their journey any long…

I had a friend who would constantly overshare her truama because her truama was normalised to her and her other friends. I did distance myself because unhealed truama weighs heavy on friendships, especially when friends do not try to heal from their past. I will actively listen to friends who are sharing about their experiences but too often is a sign they are using you as a therapy service, and one they vent to but not actively take your advice (aka you should see someone about this), which can…

I like kpop, mainly ggs, but my ex thought it was hilarious to mock a whole genre of music just because I liked to listen to it. It was so funny watching him bop along to english songs by kpop artists only to find out later it was by a kpop group 🤡 I finally got into a bg, OnlyOneOf and now I know exactly what I have been missing in life. Thats really great to hear that there is a feminist movement in Japan as the documentaires I have watched with japanese women have said women hesitate to organise and protest effectively. People take one look at FDS and call it man hating too. posts are taken out of context or women venting in blunt language make people hate fds too. And with the posts on friday posting hot men can be seen as male objectification too. Interesting take as Japan and South Korea rank so closely in the Global Gender Equality Survery (120 vs 102 in 2021 and 110 vs 115 in 2019 respectively out of 156). I think South Korea's feminist movement has really taken off in the last few years compared to Japan's. I think this would be the biggest changer to porn and social media use. It would also tackle cyber bullying on social media if everyone's account was linked to their social identification so comments would be easier to trace. Women face alamring amounts of harassement online and if every twitter user was held accountable for their comments, then hate speech and harassement would drop. There are ways around this but platforms which are anonymous do not have the same user friendly interface as big…

The japanese government has been holding mixers where men and women meet with the intention to get married (to increase the birth rate). But many have a lot of men show up and fewer women. Also Japan has a huge problem where women are expected to become home makers once they are married. Japanese women have been bullied by their companies to quit their jobs once they are pregnant and are discriminated upon reentering the work force, having to take smaller part time jobs like waitressing instead …

I am worried for young boys too as I was recently watching an ex-trump supporter talk about their experience with being radicalised by the internet at 16 into a conservative right wing supporter, even though their own mother raised them on her own and was a feminist who tried to instill feminist values into him, from a young age. The internet can be an evil place and does make me afraid for parents not being careful about what their children are looking at online.

I had a friend in college obsessed with her LVM scrote older boyfriend. She would talk endlessly about their abusive relationship and, as I was 17, I would listen and try and give her advice to help. After a year of "friendship", when I needed help most after leaving my NVX, she ghosted me saying it was too hard for her to help/listen me. If you are travelling to any south east asian countries please be aware of how common it is to have hidden cameras in your hotel rooms/bathrooms/toilets. Alot of couples use hotels to have s*x and are recorded without their knowledge. Female college students are being taught how to use bathrooms and look for recording devices before they use them. Selfcare right now looks a lot like leaving situations which drain my energy and not feeling guilty about it. Talking to myself with positive words, telling myself things will get better because they are getting better. And listening to loud rock music to burn anger from the small microaggressions towards women and WOC I face everyday from my own family. Selfcare is free but the best investment in ourselves 💕

The worst part is knowing the 18-24year old females are most likely to be sabotaged by LVM impregnating them in their prime and then leaving them as they fall into poverty as single mothers. Or the woman has to stay with the LVM as now she has children and no job/little education. I never knew this was such a vulnerable age for young women, something I experienced myself, but did not think was so common. Stay woke Queens.

As if there haven't been countless male heros who are cool because they are cool and needed no back story of abuse to make them badass. I was reading the Stormlight Series by brandon sanderson and so many men had a problem with Jasnah being the most OP character in the book without some extreme truamatic storyline to back it up. A woman can be cool as she is thank you very much.

I am sorry you are going through all of this. You need a new therapist, preferably a woman, and one for EMDR therapy. EMDR is good at desenitising you to the emotions of painful memorises so you can process them correctly. Having a therapist play down your feelings is not what you need. You need to be fully heard.

Eungenia Cooney panders to these communities who give her money on twitch to pick up heavy items and body check. They fetishise her weak ana body. It is sick. I have even heard stories of men paying ana women to model for them in hotel rooms. They keep the rooms warm so the women sweat and nearly faint, do not give them food or water, adding to the "thrill" of the experience. Men masturbate to them and they try to coerce the women into stripping during the shoot. Truly sickening

Seeing a lot of women in my life settle for less, I think they delude themselves into thinking this is they best they deserve and most are unhappy but unwilling to admit it. They use excuses like "it is not that bad", "this is how it my mother had it", "I am lucky he does X and Y, some people don't even get that!". There is much more female gaze entertainment for women now. It is much more about what drives women, their desires and goals vs how sexy men look (and even then we humanise men instead of degrade them). It only gets better the more we support and demand it. When I was in school, pre internet/social media, being anything but hypersexual and all for it was looked down on by all peers in my year. I cannot imagine the pressure kids are under now to be the most kinky, have sex early and be the most experienced. Especially as sex ed barely covers stis/stds. There is no safe/consensual sex teaching. Kids are being led in blind to sexual assualt and experiences they are not at all ready for.

I love that women are reclaiming traditional feminine icons that were used as villians and now using them in memes/internet culture because we understand that it was mysogny making us view women who were feminine as evil and making us "not like other girls". I suggest reading the book "Plucked: A history of hair removal" by Dr Rebecca Herzig. Hair removal, specifically in america, was forced upon women, especially as white women gained social mobility in the 20th century. Regulating a womans appearance was a way for white men to maintain to control over women. And removing hair for "lesser" white races like Eastern Europeans/Italians was a way for them to integrate into american society which was hostile towards them and saw them as lesser than. Hav…

I think removing the influence the patriarchy has over our lives is a process and some ideas (like shaving/pickme behaviours) are harder to remove than others. And some people will struggle with different problems more than others. Keep trying and one day you will get there. Even if you don't, making the effort to take back as much power over your life as possible from the patriarchy is enough to drive misogynistic scrotes and pickmes mad 😄

Not OP but I felt a lot more comfortable not shaving when I understood the history of why women were forced to shave. White women were corerced into shaving to show thay they were not as animalistic as women of colour and differenciate themselves from POC women. Racist white men labelled POCs as animals and white women were the lower class to men. In order for women to prove that they were not animals like POCs, they were coerced into shaving so they were not deemed as "savages", "subhumans". Go…

Your already doing better than most of us being here at 17 and already being aware of your pickmeish behaviour. You have a lot of complicated feelings to work out so it will take a long time to work through things. The most important thing is to stick to the FDS handbook with men, in particular weak moments when you want to give in to a scrote so that means no more nudes or putting out any sexual favours.

My parents forced my sister back with her porn sick husband a few months after they marriage to save face. My dad said to her face that no other man would want a divorcee. Asian culture really takes treating women as second class very seriously. So glad it is changing in this generation

I recommend checking out alok vaid menon' instagram where they go into detail how the patriarchy started policing women's bodies since the 18th century and how they still use the same tactics today as in the past. Really great place to pick up book recommendations for feminism as well

On a personal level growing up, the longer my mum remained in college, the more my dad demanded she served him his dinner, washed his clothes and tidied his house as she was the one out all day enjoying education instead of him. Men are bitter, twisted and should come with a 'danger do not get invovled tag', period.

I can't tell you it gets better. Instead I would recommend staying out of anime fandoms. They are full of pick-mes and lvm who make crappy hypersexualised edits and rxpey fanfic. It helped me a lot to look into Japanese culture to understand why so much anime is sexist and racist. And the japanese society is sexist and racist. But also anime went through a change of perception with the general public in the 1980s when a high profile child murderer&rxpist was caught with hundreds of gothic/lolita…

Any recommendations of old school animes? I loved Hot Roads and Cowboy Bebop growing up (CB is a bit mysogynistic if I remember correctly). I also stick to studio Ghibli animes as well but want to branch out into other ones

Always lock your door when you are in your room, many people speficially entitled men have tried to enter my room to ask my insignificant things at night. Always make sure you are weary of the friends your house mates bring over, especially pick-mes bringing in lvm. If you suspect someone shady has been brought over, camp in your room and have enough snacks/food in your room for days like this to avoid contact with them. Or go into common shared areas with other housemates to avoid being alone w…

Thought I had an eating disorder but turns out I was constantly gaslight by my ex into thinking I was fat even though I was a uk size 10! When I broke up, I fell in love with every little thing about my body again and constantly compliment small things about myself like little beauty marks, which he previous tried to tell me were ugly. The only thing ugly was him, literally and figuratively. Man was a walking 2/10 and had the audacity to degrade my looks 💀

Even in Japan, anime is not something people proudly speak of watching. Only Studio Ghibli is an exception to them, as for me. I grew up watching anime and there are some great animes out there but surronded in a sea of trash. I made the mistake of not vetting hard enough about anime with an ex-LVM and it was a huge mistake. Do not let a man get off by saying a genre of anime. Ask for shows, if you know them then ask in detail about the plots to see if he is trying to hide his r*pe hentai addict…

"Rare" wow I feel so safe now /s. I think Men need a curfew seeing as they still abduct, r*pe and harass women on the streets at 9PM. Or an actual education programme to teach men why all these things are wrong.

If there is any way to help mods I would be interested in putting in a few hours a week to contribute. FDS has helped to change my life and recognise changes I need to make to my own life. I want to give back anyway I can.

South Korea has a massive incel/simp problem. Their men are terribly mysognistic which is what has triggered their extreme feminist and anti-marriage movements. The Nth Room and Burning Sun cases are two extremely recent cases of severe sexual abuse against women in South Korea. Massive tirgger warning before looking into those cases. And the suic*des of two extremely popular idols named Choi Sulli and Goo Hara who were harassed and mocked for their histories of assualt should shed light on thei…

Ever since I stopped shaving, I love living my own life and feeling better about it. Seriously shaving was the bane of my existance! I love wearing heels though. After I learned to do things I want for myself and not to seem fuckable to men, my life has vastly improved. I suggest everyone evaluate if they want do any grooming techniques other than showering, brushing your teeth and washing your hair
