Why not lump all women into one psychological group? Men tend to think one way. Women tend to think another way. It's just useful to consider the average member of each gender. Obviously, individual women can step away from that mean.

I haven't personally read much of his stuff, but I know 50 Years of Challenge loves this kind of thing. He writes a lot about how silence actually increases sexual tension (which is definitely a good thing)

Well, the problem as you stated, was not the PUA stuff, but rather the difficulty that you were having maintaining relationships.

Not really relevant but for the sake of argument, Halloween.

This is an /r/relationships question, but I don't think anyone would advocate ignoring a girl for a week or two.

I read somewhere that you should make eye contact and then shift your eyes above her. If you glance off to the side or down, you look shifty or submissive.

That's why I'm handing out downvotes like they're candy.

Cross-post this to /r/relationships. They might have more/better ideas.

Good for you. I'm sure most of us have dealt with oneitis at some point and I'm glad you're getting over it. I hope you continue to grow and find more worthwhile women. That being said. This does seem more like an r/relationships post than a r/seduction one. It could easily be one, but it's just not framed that way right now and I don't know what advice or comments you expect seddit to give.

You know why they're there FTFY. Sorry for being a grammar nazi, but that was particularly cringe-worthy.

your brain needs to be exposed to high energies What the fuck does that even mean? Should I go outside and try to get struck by lightning? I agree with most of what you wrote, but I could have done without the pseudo-psychological bullshit.

I wish you had submitted this as a link so my upvote actually meant something. Seriously, this was a great source of info and tricks for anyone up to an intermediate level. I loved the part about actively trying to diminish the ASD and showing that you can be discreet.

I recently read an article on Cracked (yeah I know, great source) on gender roles and ow they've changed over the years. It used to be considered a sign of masculinity for men to cry. Odysseus cried when he heard a beautiful song and no one can argue with that guy's manhood.

I love this idea. You have fun no matter what. Another thing you could do in this scenario is to make a friendly wager about who wins. Bet a kiss or whatever.

I usually don't like when a girl makes a move on me simply because that means I didn't pick her. My level of attraction to a girl who asks me out simply isn't as high as a girl that I picked out.

I've found that drinks are usually about ~5 for a beer or regular mixed drink. But yeah, at places like hotels or casinos where they know that they've got you by the balls, drinks could easily end up being that much.

Glad to see a more relationship-oriented post. It's a nice change up from all the straight pick up posts.

Your username probably doesn't help. Pessimism never leads to happiness.

This. If you're in a relationship, you need to start being yourself at some point. If the real you is running routines, I would suggest trying to come up with some yourself.

It's significantly different to do it in college as opposed to middle age. In college, if you haven't made it yet, that's fine and you still have plenty of time left. A little optimism and hope about the future can go a long way. When you are 45, you have had your chance to get your life in order and it's much harder to be optimistic without taking substantial steps towards changing your life around. I don't think debman3 meant to imply it would work for everyone.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
