no you are wrong, 1968 covers discrimination from organizations receiving federal aid. or states. it does not cover an individual wanting someone of a gender or race to live with them. those are covered under other legal means at a local or civil if any at all.

No its only illegal if it was a company discriminating, You or I can discriminate against anyone in my personal affairs. With minor exceptions for local laws, but they are not the normality.

A lot of times during a child custody hearing and visitation, someone (almost always the male) is not allowed to have other people in the house that are not male living with them. (I Know from experience, It is messed up).
