I don't believe change will happen. I used to share a lot of TM stuff, but it never went anywhere, and I don't believe the movement at large is getting significant traction. Sadly, I'm not losing heart, it's already gone

Ultimately, I don't think it matters. I don't believe this sub has the power to affect any real-world change. As much as I strongly believe in the message and goal of this sub, I don't believe the world is even remotely interested. Whether it's a group of redditors here, or a group on another site, I don't think it'll affect the big picture. I honestly believe that believing in moderate equality as we do here, is something that just isn't going to happen. Wherever this sub exists, it'll be for a…

That's exactly it. They don't have the level of shame that normal humans do, so they work the system. I've known a handful, and reporting them does no good. Calling them out does no good, especially when women know what they're like and go to them anyway. How do you even fight that? And you still get tarred with the brush meant for them

I know exactly how you feel. I'm completely with you! And even during uni, I was never particularly skilled at going up to a woman and saying hi, so I eschewed it out of fear. And I saw people being demonised for even attempting, so me with my poor social skills, you can be damn sure I'm not even going to try. Part of me is grateful for dating apps, because there's a level of forced introduction by the app, and there's a handful of women out there who actually don't mind it when you're not a com…

That's exactly it. The only people brazen enough to approach women, and not immediately leave (therefore being unmemorable), are the ones who fulfil these posters...and they're exactly the people who will ignore these posters, despite being the focus of them. And honest, innocent men and boys have no counter to things like this. They get lumped in, but have absolutely no defence

Remember lads, you're only ever as good as the worst among you. In all seriousness, men are being treated like this. It's a blanket statement about men...and people are wondering why male social skills are going down the toilet. And even worse, the arsehole guys who won't read these messages will continue to act the same way, and be the things these messages protest. And they'll end up being the ones more likely to approach women, and be less upset by rejection...so they'll go ahead and do it ag…

It has become an ideology that you can't even criticise. And anything that is above criticism is very dangerous

AOC the Liberal... Im not American, so I don't fully grasp their terminology. But didn't she actively vote against the recent equal pay strikes? That doesn't sound very Left to me. I wouldn't take much stock in the things that she says. She's good on social media, but her version of equality probably isn't something we should aspire to. She is a politician, after all

Slightly tangential, but they literally would laugh. Some MP (who is an arsehole, don't get me wrong) proposed a discussion in the Commons about increasing awareness and support for male DV victims, and the shadow DV minister (Jess Phillips) literally laughed in his face. The shadow DV minister...laughing at the idea of talking about male DV victims. So it does not surprise me to extend into LGBT stuff either

Gomez Addams. I'd argue that Morticia and Gomez have one of the healthiest relationships I've ever seen. Gomez is a proud father and husband, but deeply loving, and treats Morticia like a queen. The difference here is that Morticia does the very rare thing of treating him the same way. Slightly tangential, I'll admit, but their relationship is a very equal and healthy one...and you don't see that. I hope to be a Gomez one day...just with better hair

Keep up with it. Most will ignore your post, but that's fine. You're doing it for the one or two who might learn something, and the lads who will see that they are heard. I regularly share these posts, and I've even had one or two women support them

I love the simplicity when it comes to fun. Give a man a big stick, and he's a warrior, or Gandalf, or a Jedi or whatever We will use our imagination and just roll with it, and I think that's kind nice

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
