2	I'm a transgender female living as a man; I have some observations and questions you might be interested in, /mensrights I think the military actually knows this. I also don't believe it's much of a trying to keep "those types" out. More likely, they don't want to pay for studies to see if a FTM are more likely to have psychological issues (whether innate or developed through abuse) and are capable of integrating into an extreme society of gender roles. I see a legal and moral barrier here. If men should be able to choose, they should be able to choose in both directions. A choice overriding the wishes of the person physically implicated is insane. Ultimately, I'm sorry, but a woman should have complete control over her own body. Giving males a legal recourse to interrupt this process is just wrong unless their own well being was at stake as well. Right now, the issue is more about controlling your own body than reproductive choice. I don't think we can talk to most people in such terms. 7	Not the onion: Local man may not be a paedophile after all! He wasn't pulled over, or being harassed because the cop had a bad day. 3	The sex was consensual, next day the woman verbally claims rape and physical assault to her friends but will not file police report. The guy is receiving threats and the "herd behavior" she's creating is putting him in danger. What are his options? IANAL, but that is a fantastic way to go about this. There is no need to go for anything beyond an apology and spreading of the truth.
