2	This woman killed her husband, cried abuse and self defense, was found guilty, sentenced to 25 yrs in prison, killed herself in prison yesterday. Her family is still trying to paint her as the victim. I do begrudge it. If my mother, father, girlfriend, best friend, etc. killed someone in cold blood as this vicious woman did, I wouldn't try to paint them for anything. I would renounce them and rightly so. 2	Double standards in sports This was the case with me and soccer at my high school growing up. I flat wasn't allowed to play. I and a few others were pretty pissed, but looking back I can understand why, especially at that age. If we factor in age, I don't really think there needs to be gender barriers up to, say, 10-12. -1	Double standards in sports I will say that I do not think Keeling should be demonized. I'm just not sold on the fact that he should be allowed to play. 15	Double standards in sports No, he is exactly right. Men are scientifically/biologically better at sports. Take the fastest man in the world and put him up against the fastest woman in the world, and the man will win ten out of ten times. It IS a big deal when Sam Gordon (or any female) does well in a male-dominated sport, let alone dominates like she is doing (granted, she's just a kid and this will change when puberty comes along, like another redditor said).
