Absolutely. I was overweight when I was 13. Feel like shit because how bad society is against fat guys. Lost 20 Kg over a year because of eating disorder (sadness and lonelyness). My routine trought the year or 6 months is: Pull pull pull The most important thing to do a proper muscle up, and then do them on high number, is to be able to stay attached with false grip. Your entire strenght depends on this. If you struggle on this, you can try stomach pull ups (remember, always High number for this kind of workout, like 10reps x 5/6 sets) and negative muscle up.
