We need more men in teaching and nursing as well. Oh wait, no one cares. We don't NEED people going into any careers that they don't want to be in. Let them make their own decisions. No one really cares about girls getting in the bar free, tbh. It is, in fact, a 4chan post, and was meant to be darkly humorous, but also serious. Also, the Affirmative Action-style procedures in education are not only disadvantageous for white males, but also Asians, who have to work much harder than any other grou…

1) I would be surprised if the number was that low. Most people will be punched, kicked, shoved scratched, or worse at least once, if not several times over. 2) Men are much more likely to experience violence. Men are more likely to be assaulted, robbed, murdered, and are slightly more likely to experience domestic violence. Women are, however, more likely to be raped, which is serious as well. What's your point?

Defamation of character is a legitimate crime, but it would have to be pursued in the civil courts.

Absolutely not. Whatever trash you are talking with her, she is likely telling everyone else as about soon as you leave the room. Especially if you work with mostly women, as I do, you will see this happen on a daily basis. I mean you can talk to her, sure, but I wouldnt tell her anything you dont want your coworkers or higher-ups knowing about.

It was briefly #1 on the front page of TIL and r/all. But it was deleted. Surprise, surprise.

Notice it says "men who control their partners". Evidently, this proposed law does not apply to women.

"Playing games" with women can be fun; you just have to learn how to play along with them. Learn to enjoy the whole ride, not just the sex, because that mentality will stress you out and that will show through. This is where "amused mastery" comes into play. As to your main question, the answer is no. Any show of weakness will make a woman lose respect for you. It is one of the burdens of being a man that we must always remain strong, but an advantage that we are capable. Time will toughen you u…

Common law marriage laws are different in each state. Fortunately in mine, they don't exist. So just check what the law is in yours, bc you may be screwed, but you may not. Choosing a partner with a proper career, keeping separate bank accounts, and keeping property such as cars separate can help. Also, if you have children, you will have no legal rights to them but, with proper planning (dont have kids with her unless she agrees) you can file for 50/50 joint custody of the children to help avoi…

Im new-ish and dont know how to post links on mobile, but I will try to elaborate a bit. Some of the reasons it can be thrown out are because one party felt pressured, didn't read it, had not time for consideration, or because the pre-nup is "unconscietable". Basically, she can claim she didn't actually want to or mean sign it and it gets thrown out just like that. She can claim not to have known that something in particular was in the pre-nup and it will be thrown out. She can claim that she on…

The unfortunate thing about a prenup is that it can and will be thrown out in court.

Kids get screwed up by fatherless AND by motherless households, so you are correct. However, 99% of the time, it's the mother who takes the kids from the father rather than the other way around, which is why the emphasis is on fatherless households.

I was diagnosed with depression as a teenager and given an SSRI. The medication helps a little, but depression is a symptom, not a problem per se. It was lifestyle changes and finding purpose that made the bigger impact for me.

You are being closed-minded. Consider wether depression is the problem, our merely a symptom of the problem. You could be depressed about your physique or socio-economic status, which would be well within your own control. Or you could suffer anxiety/ADHD from hormonal imbalances, in which case you may benefit from medication.

I've been learning BJJ, Kempo, and Judo for the last 6 months. On the mat, I've been knocked down and choked out more times than I can count. It is humbling. But you learn and you get better. On the other hand, I hosted a party at my house the other week. Some of the guys got pretty excited messing around with my punching bag and a boxing tournament was begun. Long story short, I mopped the floor with every person who challenged me, and Im a fairly skinny guy. Dont focus on your place on relatio…
